IC: Hawkstep coughed from the strange lavender scent and placed it on Brindlestripe's nose, the gentle breeze of midday blowing it up and down, up and down, but softly enough that it wouldn't fall off. The dog scattered from the clearing as an Upwalker came barking from farther away. Hawkstep let out a gasp of relief and licked Brindlestripe's cheek, trying to comfort her. He twined tails with his apprentice, Windpaw, tightly so she wouldn't be scared.

Brindpestripe twitched her ears uncertainly. "We can't leave Hawkstep, the dog might come back," she mewed, motioning toward the standing tom. He didn't seem to want to move.

"Hawkstep and Brindlestripe went for a walk, then I went for a walk, the dog attacked Hawkstep and Brindlestripe, then attacked me, nearly killed Brindlestripe, bit my leg nearly off, Hawkstep carried Brindlestripe away, I followed, got here, dogs brought more dogs, Windpaw joined us, we hid in a log, dog bit through the log and bit Brindlestripe's shoulder, we ran, dogs left, the end."

IC: Hawkstep stood in shock, frozen. The dog was circling them still, but Brindlestripe had surprised him. Love? For him? Unbelievable! The dog opened it's mouth and growled at the ginger tom before catching up with it's supposed Upwalker.

Hawkstep picked some forest floor debris out of Brindlestripe's and Windpaw's fur with a sigh. Dogs meant more dogs. And they meant Upwalkers. Big Upwalkers. That could lead to LeafClan and CloudClan all over again!
OOC: An Upwalker is a Twoleg, I call them that
