The Gathering Island RP

OOC: Yeah I was just postin the rules ahead of time so I didn't forget.

IC: Dapplestar lead the FrostClan gathering-goers onto the island.

redstripe padded in after dapplestar seeing they where the first ones here. I cant wait for the others to get here, I want to meet new cats.

blackfrost walked in beside redstripe. " I cant wait till the other clans get here." she meowed

Dapplestar, mind too overstuffed with worries to talk with her Clanmates, climbed atop the Soultree to wait for the rest of the Clans to arrive.
Quickstep looked expectantly at the BrightClan border.
Fennelpaw and Owlpaw gazed in awe at the Soultree. "It's enormous!" Owlpaw gasped.

Cloverlily bounded happily into the clearing, hoping she would get to see Marshfeather. Ratpaw brought up the rear, hoping to meet some nice new apprentices.

Redstar brought her Clan into the clearing, followed by BrightClan. Ivorystar dipped her head in a greeting with Redstar and Dapplestar, then took her place at the base of the Soultree next to Redstar.

darkpaw walked after redstar. " its huge!" he meowed looking at the soultree

nightmoon  padded after ivoystar, she looked around for someone new to talk to.

Ratpaw glanced at Darkpaw and padded over nervously. He tucked his tail in between his hind legs and dipped his head in a hello.
"Umm, hi, how are you? Are you from FireClan?" he mewed anxiously.

OOC: Leaders go at the top of the Soultree.
IC: 
Dapplestar nodded harshly to Ivorystar.
Aukletstorm nervously padded over to two FrostClan warriors chatting. "Uh, hi." she mewed nervously.
Soraflight padded over to Hazelflight and the two started exchanging quiet news about their Clans.
Birchstripe padded confidently into the clearing.
Quickstep padded over to two BrightClan warriors. "Hello," she mewed politely.
Jasperheart nodded and muttered acknowledgement to the FrostClan warrior, struck with how much she resembled Petrelflight.

darkpaw turned to ratpaw and dipped his head. " hi, and yes I'm from fireclan. Your.. your from frostclan right?" he meowed nervously.


nightmoon looked at quickstep. " hey, how is your new clan?" she meowed walking over to her old clan mate.

Aurorashade nodded at Quickstep.
"You know, you look a lot like my friend in BrightClan!" she mewed excitedly, reading Jasperheart's thoughts.

Ivorystar clambered up to the top of the Soultree and exchanged some news with Redstar.
"You must be a new leader, huh? I don't see Whitestar anymore." she meowed harshly.

Redstar nodded.
"He, err, retired. We have a new deputy, too, Nightpelt." she acknowledged her new deputy by flicking her tail at the black figure of Nightpelt close below.

"Oh, it's alright." Quickstep shrugged, "And, uh, I haven't been in BrightClan for a while, who's your friend?"
Robinpaw bounced over to Darkpaw. "Can you believe how many cats there are!?" she mewed excitedly.
"Retired?" Dapplestar mewed, unconvinced.

OOC * poof all of my cats that are going here*

Ic: Aquatail looked around at the area.

Sparkfeather walked up to Aquatail " Hi!" She mewed

"Yes. He was probably baffled by all the recent skirmishes, like the gone-rogue apprentices and such." Redstar explained, flinching at Dapplestar's tone. This was, after all, her first Gathering as leader.

Aurorashade glanced at Jasperheart nervously before building up the rest of her confidence and speaking louder to the former BrightClan warrior.
"Her name is Petrelflight, why?" she mewed.

Ratpaw nodded.
"It's really, really huge! I've never been here before!" he mewed, tone matching a certain one that Robinpaw had just expelled.

Sandstar led WaterClan into the clearing.
Marshfeather spotted Cloverlily and raced across the clearing towards her.
Rippleshade nervously slid into the clearing, hiding behind his other Clanmates.
Carrotnose looked around in awe.

"P-Petrelflight?" Quickstep stuttered, tilting her head.

Dapplestar raised an eyebrow but said nothing.

" no, there are so many cats! I can hardly tell witch clans they are from!" darkpaw answered.

riverpaw padded after his mentor aquatail. " who is this?" he meowed looking at sparkfeather.

nightmoon twitched her ears. " glade your enjoying your new clan." she meowed before turning and walking away, looking for someone else to talk to.

redstripe shook out his pelt and looked for someone to talk to.

blackfrost padded up to sparkfeather, aquatail, and darkpaw. " hi I'm blackfrost, who are you all?" she asked.

Seashell bounded happily after Sandstar, gazing in awe at the enormous clearing.
"Isn't this amazing?" she mewed to Carrotspots.

Aurorashade nodded, wondering why the warrior got so worked up after Petrelflight's name was announced.

Cloverlily purred when she saw Marshfeather.
"How are you?" she mewed in a low voice, trying to hold in her happiness to see him again.

"You just have to take a sniff to tell, everyone here stinks. No offense." Martenpaw mewed, his nose wrinkled.
"I-I-is Petrelflight here?" Quickstep mewed in a demanding tone.
"N-no, why?" Jasperheart mewed.
"Yeah, pretty great." Carrotspots nodded, trying not to giggle at the she-cat's outward fascination.
"I'm doing fine, and you?" Marshfeather mewed flirtily.

" This is Sparkfeather of FireClan. And hello Blackfrost, nice to meet you. I'm Aquatail" Aquatail mewed

Sparkfeather nodded

"They just, umm, smell of their own Clan," Ratpaw put stink in a more polite way to correct Martenpaw.

Aurorashade cocked her head, wondering why Quickstep was so interested in Petrelflight.

" no offense taken! I think everyone here stinks too." darkpaw meowed.

riverpaw nodded. " what clan are you from sparkfeather?" he meowed

blackfrost nodded. " nice to meet you too!" she purred.

Ratpaw thought of Heatherpaw, wishing she was here to enjoy the experience with him. He flicked his tail and padded away abruptly, sitting under one of the old willow trees and twirling a stray leaf by himself.

"Yeah, but Clan smells an awful lot like dead stuff." Martenpaw muttered, earning a loud snicker from Robinpaw.
"Do either of you remember me at all?" Quickstep mewed frantically, "I was a BrightClan queen back when Viperstar invaded."

Orc Aquatail said the clan


Aquatail smiled at Sparkfeather

Aurorashade scanned Quickstep's face extra closely, still not recognizing her.
"I was probably a kit, but I was a loner before I came to BrightClan with my brother around apprentice age, so no, sorry." she meowed.

Jasperheart pondered it for a moment. "Not really? I was only like, a few days old when that happened. Sorry." she mewed, not understanding the distress on Quickstep's face.
"It's alright." she muttered, "Has Petrelflight ever mentioned her parents to either of you?"

"Um, not sure. My memory is pretty bad." Aurorashade chuckled.

Smokepaw came in with all of the other DuskClan cats looking around happily

OOC: Aqua, you have to wait for the leaders to get here first before roleplaying immediately.

OOC: Guys at a gathering please don't have posts that are just ooc, it gets clogged really quickly.
IC: 
Quickstep sighed. "Alright, just, when you get back, ask her if she knows a Quickstep for me, okay?"

"Alright." Aurorashade nodded, shooting a glance up at the dimming sky.
"It's almost moonhigh," she changed the topic and chattered quietly to Jasperheart.

Redstar looked around, impatiently flicking her tail back and forth, and back and forth.
"So, who will address the beginning of the meeting tonight?" she asked, trying to fill the time.
OOC: Sorry, Leo.

"We should wait for Russetstar to get here." Dapplestar pointed out, lashing her tail.

Nightpelt, focusing on meeting the other deputies, forgot to search for skybreeze if she had been chosen to go to the gathering.

Russetstar padded into the island, leading her chosen cats from Duskclan. She gave a brief nod the other leaders and joined them up in the soultree.
(Poop idk how to powerplay Russetstar for fern)

Skybreeze, wide eyes followed in, excited to see her brother. As she searched through the crowd of fireclan cats, she seemed not to spot his black pelt.

Daisypaw and Nettlepaw stood by each other as they looked around. 
"I don't know about you, but I'm going to Aurorashade!" Daisypaw meowed, bumping shoulders as a " cya" signal to Nettlepaw.
Nettlepaw nodded and looked around,  "So many cats..." She muttered to herself, wishing hazepaw was there to guide her.

Daisypaw spotted her mentor after a few minutes of searching and bounded up to her. "Hi, Aurorashade!" She greeted with a smile.

Snakewhisker looked around with a smirk on his face, Robinblaze told me to watch the Brightclan cats since they've been suspicious, Hmph, I'll tell her everything I hear! 


Zebrapaw was padding close behind Riverpaw, searching for any 'cool' looking apprentices.

lilypaw padded in after Russetstar. " this place is.. HUGE!" she mumbled to herself

riverpaw turned and looked at zebrapaw. " who should we talk to first?" he asked.

darkpaw looked around again for a new person to talk to. He spotted Nettlepaw. I haven't talked to her before. He waved his tail in good bye to ratpaw and martinpaw. He walked to neetelpaw. " hi, I'm darkpaw from fireclan, who are you?" he meowed politely

Zebrapaw shrugged and stopped padding for a moment. "Let's check out the Duskclan cats!" She replied after a a few heartbeats of thinking.

Nettlepaw jumped in suprise that some cat other then daisypaw approached her. "Oh, hello! My name is Nettlepaw..um, of Brightclan!" She responded, smiling. I can't BELEIVE I almost forgot which clan I was in! 

" ok!" riverpaw meowed and looked around for some duskclan cats. " were are they?"

" where you born in brightclan... or echoclan or stormclan?" darkpaw meowed then regretted it. " you don't have to tell me.. if you don't want to." he added.

lilypaw looked around for smokepaw, her clan mate. where did he go! I have no other duskclan cats to talk to, and I don't want to talk to other clans... she thought.

Nettlepaw shook her head, "Actually I wasn't born in any clan.." She started awkwardly, "I was..um-er, born a um.... Kittypet...." She finished, trying to not meet the toms eyes, too embarrassed.

Dovepaw looked around and noticed lilypaw was by herself. "Hey what's up, Lilypaw?" She meowed, standing beside her denmate.

Zebrapaw nodded, but then flicked her tail to the direction of dovepaw and lilypaw. "How about theme? They seem like apprentices." She pointed out.

darkpaw twitched his ears. " oh.. well that doesn't make you any different I guess, I mean your a apprentice now, so you left your old life behind." he meowed.

" oh, nothing, just looking for someone to talk to.. I don't want to talk to the other clans, some off them scare me." lilypaw meowed her eyes darting around the clearing.

riverpaw nodded. " ok." he meowed cheerfully and padded over to them. " hi, I'm riverpaw of waterclan!" he meowed to them.

OOC: Russetstar is a tom

Lilytail followed after Russetstar, seeing Nightpelt and sitting down beside him, awkwardly shuffling her paws as she watched the leaders exchange quiet news to each other at the top of the Soultree. "Umm, hello," she dipped her head to the other deputy.

Morningshine's eyes flickered across the enormous clearing. She saw a group of medicine cats chattering and joined them, nodding politely.

Mintapple trotted in after Lilytail, bringing up the rear. He looked around in curiosity. He shook his mottled fur out, padding up to Zebrapaw and Riverpaw. "Why, hello, little apprentices. Care for a story?" he mewed, flicking a beetle off his paw and watching it scuttle away like a crab.

Redstar got red with embarrassment. Of course they had to wait for all the leaders! She ducked her head, fixing her eyes on Acornwhisker's beige head. "Right," she meowed awkwardly, seeing Russetstar arrive.

OOC: OMG oops sorryyy

Russetstar turned His head towards the other leaders. "I apoligize for being..late. Shall we begin?" He meowed, looking back at the chattering crowd of cats.

Zebrapaw was about to introduce herself, but when Mintapple interrupted she made a annoyed face. "No way, stories are for kits." She meowed, making a "cool" face. 

Nettlepaw nodded, "Yes I guess your right. I just hope nobody else thinks different of my situation.." She meowed, meeting his eyes this time.

Dovepaw smiled, "Hi, I'm Dovepaw, of Duskclan." She meowed, replying to Riverpaw.

Twistedleg joined the group of medicine cats and apprentices, limping over grumpily as usual.

Graytail was already in the small bunch of medicine cats, saying hellos to fellow friends.

Nightpelt turned his head to meet the she-cats gaze, "Hello!" He responded awkwardly, not sure of what to say. "Oh, let me introduce myself. I'm Nightpelt the new deputy -er, second deputy of fireclan." He meowed, dipping his head back.

Smokepaw sat down and looked around

Aquatail looked around to see if any cats were available to talk


Sparkfeather shyly sat down looking around

Skybreeze, searching for Nightpelt seemed to not find him. As she scanned the gathering, she spotted a familiar face, Sparkfeather. She padded over quickly. "Hello, sparkpaw! " she meowed, remembering when she met her when she was night pelts apprentice, but not knowing her warrior name.

" Oh hi! I'm Sparkfeather now! Are you Skybreeze?" Sparkfeather mewed trying not to make her voice shake

riverpaw dipped his head to mintapple. " I'm sorry for my friends rudeness, I'm sorry but no, not right now, maybe later though." he meowed trying to sound polite.

lilypaw dipped her head to riverpaw and zebrapaw. " I'm lilypaw of duskclan!" lilypaw meowed cheerfully.

darkpaw smilled at nettlepaw. " well if they do see things differently, remember this, you are so much more then a kittypet, your a warrior cat apprentice!" he meowed.

"I believe we should start." Dapplestar nodded to Russetstar. She stepped across the branch overhead the cats gathered bellow.
"We gather here beneath the light of the full moon and Silverpelt, upon the island destined to be sacred ground from its birth, to share news and warnings between Clans, under a peace treaty as SoulClan decrees. Let there be no fighting or disagreements, and let the Gathering begin."
My cats went silent and looked up to the leaders.

Redstar looked at the older leaders, not daring to say a word. Ivorystar rested her tail on Redstar's shoulder, comforting the newly appointed leader and nodding politely to Russetstar.

Lilytail smiled, going silent when Dapplestar called the meeting.

Longpaw hurried after Greytail, trying not to burst into excitement for his first Gathering. He went quiet and turned to look up at the leaders on the Soultree.

nightmoon sat down next to redstripe, and blackfrost. She looked up at the leaders.

redstripe and blackfrost looked up at the leader.

lilypaw looked up. " the gathering is starting!" she whispered and sat down looking at the leader.

darkpaw glanced at nettlepaw then sat down, looking at the leaders.

riverpaw sat down next to dovepaw, lilypaw, and zebrapaw.

the rest of my cats sat down watching the leaders. (  I don't want to keep putting all my cats down.)

OOC: dovepaw teleports here.

IF: Dovepaw shuffled next to Hazelflight awkwardly, shy around the new cats.

Sandstar stepped forward. "May I speak first?" he asked the other leaders, eyes shining with pride.
Dapplestar nodded, not really paying attention and trying to think of the best thing she could say for her Clan.

"It's going to be alright," Hazelflight reassured her apprentice.

Smokepaw comes over to sit next to Lilypaw. " Hi" He mews


Aquatail sits next to her apprentince and Sparkfeather

Dovepaw nodded. "I'm just a bit shy." she whispered, before looking up at the leaders.
