Sandstar stepped forward, his mouth forming into a snarl. "Quiet down! SoulClan will not be pleased we are arguing during the sacred truce," he said, thinking it was the noble thing to do.

Ivorystar glanced up at the skies. "The moon hasn't clouded over yet," she growled, flicking her tail as a breeze tore through the clearing and ripped at everyone's pelts. "Which must mean that I must stand up for my Clan!"

Dragonflame shrugged, sitting back down. "I didn't know him that well, but like I just said, any cat would kill in self-defense. Unless they were a coward." She caught Tigereye's eyes and flashed him a murderous look before looking back up at Sandstar.

"He was the brother of my medicine cat, Soraflight. She's not here with us at this Gathering, but I'm sure if she was she would tell you all about it." she let out a deep breath before continuing, seeing the clouds roll over the full moon. Glaring down at Nightmoon, an unfamiliar warrior, she snorted, "Why should we leave? We have matters to be discussed and there won't be another Gathering for quite a while, my friend."

Dapplestar gripped the branch as a strong, howling wind swept through the clearing. She was wondering whether an adjoined gathering would count as a battleground.

"Let's go, now." Rippleshade snapped to the apprentices, trembling in fear.

Birchstripe looked up at the sky, then bolted from the clearing, heart racing and not wanting to take chances.

Jasperheart brushed against Auradshade, puffing up defensively and looking at the other side.
Aukletwing yelped and grit her teeth, another pain racking through her from her infected wound.

Tawnysky slowly inched away from the other side and towards her fellow DuskClan members.

"Can the gathering really go to peaceful from where it is now, Sandstar?" Dapplestar called, nearly losing her balance with another gust of wind. The rain that had been sprinkling earlier had turned into pouring rain.
