Rockgrove || The Valley and Woods

West of the Trapped Stars is the Rockgrove Woods, situated closer to the foot of the mountains in a sheltered valley. Trees grow tall and broad here, and are home to many birds, some of which hunt the small creatures in the rolling grasses and herbs of the hills. Jutting out of these hills are large white rocks, which warm even in the winter sunlight and offer shelter beneath, while a small waterfall into the valley that creates a stream and shallow pool provides water for the animals, and even the herds of wild horses which sometimes graze here.
The main prey are the large hawks, pheasants, and rabbits. Salamanders are also prey but a little rarer, and the occasional lost fish provides a welcome change to their diet.
