The Silver Sands Empty The Silver Sands

East of the Mountains and stretching right from their bases into the sunset is the area known as the Silver Sands, a vast expanse of rolling sand dunes which are warm all year around, the hottest season obviously being mid-greenleaf. Winter is warm but can be deadly; though there is heat during the day the nights drop far below freezing and can kill almost anything exposed to the extremes. Small oases of fresh water offer the largest abundance of life, as animals small and large use them as much as they can. The only plants which can survive are cacti, and their small flowers being the only 'herb' source available to anyone who wishes to brave this land.
