BrightClan Horseplace

BrightClan's Horseplace is a stereotypical farm type area; though it is large, there aren't many larger animals to pose much of a threat, but rabbits run wild in the fields. There is little to no shelter, except in the barn where a few loners live, and though BrightClan claim it as their territory, it really isn't. The loners 'allow' them to hunt in the fields, as long as they don't enter the barn.
Here is a good place for young cats to learn the dangers of Twolegs, as some will even climb atop of the mysterious horses and ride them around for a while. There are a few sheep and many chickens, which make good hunting but are well protected by a fierce-looking dog.

Rooster sat in front of the barn, watching for any trespassing cats who wanted to eat the farm animals. He tapped his claws on a small piece of wood, hungrily watching a chicken run across the yard.

Indie padded out of the warm barn, stretching and 'accidentally' flicking her tail in Rooster's face. "Oh, sorry, didn't see you there," she mewed cheekily.

Indie snorted. "Right. You look like you were daydreaming." She yawned, letting her teeth show. "Do you want to hunt or something?"

Rooster stood up and nodded. "Fine with me. Maybe there's something hiding in those fields." He said and glanced at the vast fields.

Nugget hopped through the fields, trying to catch rabbits, although the small cat did horribly due to his lack of experience in hunting, plus his smaller size causing the long, grass to get in his way. The young tom puffed, his panting showing how tired he really was, although he resumed with a great effort to catch his first rabbit.

Indie rested her chin on the open shutter, feeling the cool breeze wash over her ears and closing her eyes a little. Leaf-fall will bring frosty mornings, though the barn always stayed warm.

Petrelflight ducked under the fence and trotted towards the barn, cautious for any foxes or other cats that could be wandering.

Indie opened one eye as an unfamiliar scent washed over her. "Rooster!" she hissed to the tom behind her. "Get up!"

Petrelflight peeked into the barn, wincing as a cobweb drifted into her face. She flicked her tail in satisfaction and began tearing them off the walls.

Indie growled from her spot. "Who are you?" she yowled, leaping down with her tail fluffed up.

Rooster followed angrily. 'What are you doing with those cobwebs?!" He demanded, the tuft of fur on his head wavering.

Nugget huffed, padding over to the barn tiredly. He had decided to take a break from rabbit-hunting for the time being, and besides, his curiosity caused him to wonder over to see who the strange visitor was. The spotted, small cat slipped through a hole and bounded up a stack of hay. "Who was that?" He questioned Rooster, and Indie, the two other horseplace cats that lived in the barn.

Amethyst walked into the horseplace, looking for other cats. She looked at Indie, Nugget and Rooster. Her three siblings walked in behind her. "Uh... Hi? I'm Amethyst and these are my siblings, Sapphire, Topaz and Turquoise. We were wondering if we could stay, for a while..." She stammered.

Turquoise eyed the other cats warily.

Sapphire tilted his head and watched the cats warily.

Topaz Seemed to be bubbling with excitement.

OOC: I don't exactly want to make some auditions for horseplace cats so can I poof these guys here?

IC: Nugget twitched his ears as he heard pawsteps outside of the barn. Cats! He quickly bounded down the hay stack, his tail wavering in the air. "Hello!" He purred, ignoring Amethyst's question, and touching noses in greeting as if he knew them, "Welcome to the barn!" The young tom padded back up the hay stack, his gaze flicking over to Indie, and Rooster, waiting for them to respond to the new cats' question.

Indie narrowed her eyes. "You may stay for a while," she mewed, not bothering to say anything else and leaping up to the pile of hay in the rafters. First those dumb Clan cats, now other ones.

Indie nodded. “We can easily make them leave whenever. Set the dog on them,” she murmured back, mischievous twinkle in her eye. “But for now, we should sleep.”

Rooster nodded. "I hope more cats don't come." He grumbled and lay down. The hay felt warm under him but sleep didn't come as easily as it usually did. He blinked his eyes open and sighed.

Nugget twitched his ears as he overheard the cats discussing about Rooster, and Indie. He padded over to them, greeting with a purr. "Don't worry about them! They're just a pair of grumpy whiskers," He mrowed, before giving his shoulder a few licks to clear it off.

OOC: Lol, Nugget is way too friendly. Oh well.

Indie licked his ear, tucking her tail over her paws as she heard the rain begin to patter down outside. Must be a storm, she thought, flinching lightly at the boom of thunder.

“Oh whatever.” Rooster joked and jumped down from the loft and cast an angered gaze to the new cats. “Don’t even think about messing with the chickens or my family.” He growled and walked out.

Indie continued to groom herself, making her pelt glossy and shiny in the weak sunlight filtering into the barn. She pricked her ears as the snuffles of mice filled them, leaping down as delicately as she could manage with a belly full of kits and started stalking.
