Briarpaw is rather strange looking cat. Her body is large and well-built for fighting along with small sharp claws in her paws. Her paws aren't as big as one would think and she constantly trips if she isn't paying attention. She had rather plush, rather curly fur that isn't as sticky-out on her round face. Her pelt is mostly cinnamon with splashes of sorrel and lighter colours. She has spotted tabby markings underneath the patches which is most prominent on said lighter patches. She has a round head, a somewhat short muzzle framed with wide amber eyes.

Briarpaw isn't much like her friend. She's bashful and loud, constantly asking dumb questions that she knows the answer to. She just wants attention as she was rather ignored as a kit and thought this was the only way to get attention. She does think occasionally and when she does, it's probably to insult someone or impress her mentor. Although she loves her friends like family, she doesn't always listen to them and if she isn't focused on learning for her mentor she reacts the same way as though she was asked something when she's in a have. She freaks out. Kind of. Even if she's only around two cats, she freezes and her voice cracks off into silence. She's ambitious for reconsideration from her peers but will remain loyal to her friends and clan unless the two clash. She will never leave one of them behind unless she knows it's for the greater good and even then she tries to put up a fight. Due to her pestering and rather rude behaviour, she isn't one to be popular amoung the average cats and she doesn't feel she belongs with them but she does love her friends. If you ever knew her when she was half-asleep, you'll know that she gets extremely clingy and even more annoying. She'll annoy you until you give in and let her curl up next to you.

As a kit, Briarkit wasn't paid attention to by her mother. The elderly she-cat had almost died in kitting and her father died a moon before she was kitted. Briarkit was the only kit in the litter, the elderly mother thanked SoulClan for that, and grew up rather lonely. She didn't want to leave her mothers side but was often forced to. Her mother didn't respond when she used a indoor voice so she slowly started to gain a louder voice. Other kits found her 'That weird kit who always yells for mummy' which didn't bother her much. Until she meet Featherkit. This beautiful, talented she-kit had taught a massive rabbit all be herself? She had Briarkit's full attention and Briarkit constantly tried to make Featherkit proud of her. She even once tried to sneak out when she was five moons but her mother foiled her and made her stay in the den for a few sunrises. After what felt like moons with Featherpaw being a apprentice, Briarkit was finally dubbed Briarpaw and she moved into the apprentice den, getting as close to Featherpaw as her nest allowed. She met Fadingpaw through Featherpaw and at the first meeting she was jealous that Featherpaw had another friend but she didn't voice her opinion. After a few days, she warmed up to Fadingpaw and Briarpaw considered them a friend too.
