Hollyheart pushed some tansy to Shadowstrike, and raced over to the nursery. "Need any help?" she mewed breathlessly.

Stardust purred. "There you are." she mewed at her sibling. "Hi, Nightshade, Devilstrike, Tigerpaw."

Hollyheart dipped her head. "I'll get Windfur." she mewed, padding back to the medicine den.

Stardust pretended to fall to the ground in a mock wound, only to squeak in pain as Graypaw flattened her tail. "Sorry!" he mewed, scrambling to his paws. "I didnt see you there..." he trailed off, realising that the senior warriors were standing in front of him.

Vinekit, Shatteredkit, Blackkit, Strippedkit, and Crowkit run out of the nursery. "I bet im faster than all of you!" Stripedkit teased. "Prove it!" Blackkit squeaked. "I`ll race you to that pile of warrior food over there and back." He mewed. The kits nodded at each other. They lined up. They ran. Shatteredkit in the lead, Stripedkit right behind her. Crowkit only a mouse-lingth behind Stripedkit. Blackkit and Vinekit neck-n-neck in the back.

Redrose padded out of the nursery and went to her den to think about the prophecy. 'it sounds as if there are other clans out there' she thought.

Shatteredkit touched the pile with her paw then ran back to where they were before. The other kits right behing her.

"How did you beat me?!?" Stripedkit squealed. "She-cat power." Shatteredkit mewed. She twitched her tail. Stripedkit attacked Shatteredkit. Blackkit, Vinekit, and Crowkit backed away. Shatteredkit scared Stripedkit`s eye trying to get him off. Stripedkit yowled. He striked at Shatteredkit scrathing her left cheek.
