Willowheart curled around Lilykit, and the little kit settled down and fell asleep again.

Flickerflame glanced at the nursery. He wouldnt be alowed in now because of the new kit.

Willowheart's eyes met Ivykit's, and the little kit backed off, her ears flat. "Mom!" Ivykit called.

Gorsewing came into the nursery and picked Ivykit up, putting her away from Willowheart. "Foxkit, Firekit, get away from them." she said. Foxkit and Firekit ran out of the nursery playfighting.

Flickerflame turned, and batted at Foxkit with a forepaw. "Oh no!" he mewed.

Ivykit sighed.

Willowheart licked Lilykit again, and the little kit woke up. Her eyes were a brilliant blue, just like her father's, and Willowheart purred. "Hello, little one." she whispered. Lilykit blinked, and looked around.

Spottedhawk sat just outside the entrance. He sighed, and braced himself as he walked into the camp.
Almost instantly, Patchflame growled, bushing up his fur. "What are you doing here, trator?" he hissed.
Spottedhawk flattened his ears. "I wish to talk to Birchstar."

Spottedhawk followed the tom over to Birchstar. He dipped his head. "My name is Spottedhawk." he mewed.

Spottedhawk dipped his head again, grateful. He shuffled his paws awkwardly.

Willowheart licked Lilykit's ear, then padded out of the nursery. "Spottedhawk?" she mewed, and her mate turned around. She purred, and licked his ear, while he nuzzled her shoulder.

Spottedhawk nodded to the deputy, and padded away with Willowheart.
"Are you staying?" Willowheart mewed, her eyes wide.
Spottedhawk nodded. "I want to be with you." he mewed, licking her ear. Willowheart giggled a little, then perked her ears as she heard a kit mewl. She gasped, and Spottedhawk looked at her. "What's the matter? Never heard a kit mewl?" he joked, and Willowheart nudged him. "Come and meet your daughter." she purred, and Spottedhawk's eyes lit up.

Seapaw walked out of the medicine cat's den. Sneezing at the unfamiliar Leafclan scent, she snarled. "Who's there?" she hissed.

Spottedhawk glanced warily at Seapaw before following Willowheart into the nursery. The shecat was already soothing Lilykit, and the kit was almost asleep. "Meet LIlykit." Willowheart mewed softly, and Spottedhawk touched his nose to her ear. The little kit yawned, and turned over.
"She's beautiful." Spottedhawk whispered.

Ivykit played outside, oblivious to the new scnets.
