Berrykit stayed beside her mother, watching. "Why do toms always act like that mama?" she asked quietly, looking up.

Skyfeather padded back with a yawn. "Sorry. I had to make sure Briarkit didn't get the best of Rabbitflight." he purred amusedly.

Winterkit shook him off and leaped, landing on Bravekit's back.

"Wow! It's so big!" Winterkit exclaimed, almost tripping over his paws. Berrykit was quiet but she looked around in awe.

Falconstorm came back into camp alone with his head looking at the ground. He was deep with grief. He ignored the blood that the bird that took his apprentice left on the scratch on his shoulder.

"I was out with Goldenpaw, training her to hunt like normal. I don't even know how this happened but a bird swopped down, picked her up, and carried her away. I tried to stop it, but when I tried to fight back the bird slashed at me and got away. All it left was a few feathers and a scratch on my shoulder." Falconstorm explained, still filled with grief.
