Sootstripe lay a soothing tail on the warrior's shoulder. "Silvergaze you'll be fine. Even if you do lose your vision completely, you're still a great warrior. Are you afraid of something?" she mewed softly.

Silvergaze held back a whimper. she turned away and started to head to the warriors den, but she stumbled. in her vision, everything was in a different place than it seemed to be,

Fawnpaw stayed quiet. "If you don't tell me then I'll just ask Sootstripe. It isn't fair that I shouldn't know why my mentor doesn't want to teach me any more." she mewed, sounding angry even if she didn't mean to.

Silvergaze wanted to move, but she didnt want to stumble again. she wished she were fully blind, then at least her vision wouldnt seem to have two of everything.

"Sootstripe?" Fawnpaw called out.
"What is it...?" she answered with a small sigh. "Oh you must be wondering what's wrong with Silvergaze."
"Well yes... but she told me she couldn't be my mentor anymore. Is she sick or something?"
"Not exactly... her vision is going and she doesn't want to risk anything." Sootstripe said sadly.

She sighed quietly. "My dad had the same problem, he continued to be a warrior even though his vision was going. He never gave up and neither should you." she said, worried since it was the first time she'd spoken of her family.
