Leafsong moved suddenly frm where she was laying and she winced because it hurt her wounds. The flesh was so weak that it gave way and tore, making Leafsong bleed again. A cat that was standing on the other side of the den could feel the heat coming from Leafsong. Leafsong had a high fever from infection.
