Fawnwish glanced at her and rolled her eyes. "You're the one who wanted to try and walk. Lean on me." she padded over and stood still, waiting for the apprentice.

Fawnwish sighed before explaining how she had found the two apprentices with Whitewind and brought them back after they made the badgers leave. "I don't think they need to be punished though, they're already hurt." she finished, unconsciously stepping in front of them.

"Did I ever say I was? Listen I can let Windflight do whatever he deems fit to you you know. I can walk away and let him handle you. I'm helping the both of you." she frowned, her eyes growing hard again.
"S- Sorry Fawnwish..." Birchpaw mumbled, nudging Shadowpaw.

"Fine." Shadowpaw said with a sigh, waitingw hile Riverwhisker tended to her cuts before looking at her shoulder.
"That's a bad break..." He said, "This will hurt. Are you ready?" She nodded, and her pushed her shoulder back into place. She didn't make a sound, but tears sprung to her eyes. Riverwhisker then put (reed stalks?) on her leg to start to mend the other break.

Birchpaw waited, carefully licking his twisted paw.
Fawnwish sighed, sitting down heavily. "They'll be okay, won't they Riverwhisker?" she asked softly, meeting the tom's eyes as he quickly looked away in guilt.

Skyfeather blinked and met the warrior's eyes before seeing Runepaw behind him, she fell to the ground, panting and shivering. "What happened?" he asked quickly, padding over.

The apprentice looked up with glassy eyes. "Skyfeather..." she whispered before falling against Winterfang, unconscious.
Skyfeather blinked in surprise. He didn't fully believe Winterfang's story but there was nothing he could do right now. "Get her to the medicine den and get her warmed up. That's a direct order." he said.

The tom nodded sharply, and managed to carry Runepaw into the medicine den, placing her gently in a nest. "Riverwhisker!" he called, deciding that the best way to keep her warm was to lie down beside her.

Skyfeather watched him leave, frowning in confusion. 'She wouldn't have gotten so sick so quickly... even with her short fur. Something's up with those two. And with what happened to Birchpaw and Shadowpaw,' he glanced at the apprentices who were talking to Fawnwish. 'These two incidents are connected. How though...?'

Spottedkit rolled over, accidentally rolling over her brother. "Hey!" Blackkit shouted as he suddenly woke up. Spottedkit jerked awake and said, "Oh, sorry I don't know how that happened." She got up and went back to her nest. Blackkit sighed and said nothing else.

Shadowpaw sat in the medicine den, keeping her eyes averted from Runepaw as though she were in a different clan.

Runepaw blinked, looking exhausted. "Sorry Riverwhisker... I didn't think I'd get sick." She forced a smile and ate the herbs, trying not to cough.
Birchpaw looked at his sister, suddenly worried. Sure he was angry at her but he didn't want her hurt or sick either.

Shadowpaw acted like she didn't care, but she tensed up instinctively in worry for her sister. she brushed it off.

"Its fine." Riverwhisker sighed. "Stay in the warm tonight, you can go to the apprentice's den or stay here, but stay in a den."

Shadowpaw purposely avoided eye contact with them, laying down a bit awkwardly so no weight would be put on her front leg.
