Smokeheart padded out of the warriors' den. He was coughing violently and loudly. He did not get sleep that night.

"Nah, I'm just tired from the meeting." Sootstripe smiled and licked her ear. "After you fill her in you should get some sleep too Kestrelflight." she headed into the medicine den.

Blackkit came up behind Ashkit and jumped on her back, batting at her playfully.

Smokeheart gasped for breath as he got a break from coughing at the moment. He had been coughing frequently since last night.

Ivywing put her paw on Minnowkit's tail. "Mom! I'm almost an apprentice, I can gr-" the rest of her complaint was smothered as Ivywing licked her daughter, ignoring it.
Heronkit giggled, and Minnowkit set a death glare on him. "You're next!" He gulped.
