"She wouldn't stop pestering me until I came to talk to you..." he sighed and cleared his throat. "I'd like for you to consider letting me teach Littlekit the ways of a medicine cat."

Littlekit was frustrated with that answer, but knew arguing would get her no where. Pretending to have given up, she sighed and nodded. "Thank you Sandstar and Brackenstorm." She padded back to the nursery and laid in her nest, peeking through the brambles and waiting for Brackenstorm to leave.

Turtlesplash padded into camp. "They're not near camp, Willowfrost said she saw pawprints leading towards the ponds. She sent me back to warn you incase they catch her." she mewed.

Wishkit ran in the camp and towards Sandshade. "Ottertail! They've got a army! They're gonna attack!" She warned.

Brackenstorm blinked. He wanted to stay and listen to Wishkit, but he had to leave. Dipping his head once more he padded out of camp.

Littlekit slunk out of the nursery, passing the cats in the center of the camp unnoticed and followed Brackenstorm.

Wishkit breathed heavily, out of breath from running. "Ottertail has gathered the cats on his side and is planning to have them attack the cats who are on your side!" She explained.

Juniperkit trudged to the Medicine cat den, hoping for them to let stay there till his apprenticeship.

Snowflower looked down at Wishkit. "Are you sure she said that?" She asked the kit, supposing that she shouldn't be surpirsed that Ottertail would go as far to attack her own clan.

Sandshade then padded to Turtlesplash and said "Go get Willowfrost! Clawstripe go with her!" then he turned to the Fallen Tree. He gulped then lept on it.

Littlekit woke up from where she'd fallen asleep in the medicine den after sneaking out. Brackenstorm had told her to pretend she'd insisted on sleeping there if anyone asked. She groomed her tortoiseshell fur. She would be an apprentice today.

Wishkit ran into the medicine den with Juniperkit at her side. "Littlekit! We're gonna be apprentices!" Juiperpaw flicked his tail happily. "Yes, but Ottertail's gonna attack, remember, i went with mom and Pebblekit yesterday?" Wishkit reminded her blind brother. "Oh yeah... Well Littlepaw, I hope you can fight, because i cant!" Juiperkit said, running out of the medicine den.

Brackenstorm stepped between the two kits and frowned. "Stop you two. Wishkit go do something until Sandshade calls the meeting. Littlekit I'll start your training while we wait."

"Okay." She mewed. She hadn't technically left the nest she slept in yet, so she licked her paws. They hurt a little from the walk to the Mooncave, she hadn't been ready for such an adventure.

Littlekit peered up at Sandshade again. She was sure he felt the same despair she did, but worse. Nodding at Brackenstorm and hoping she could find them on her own, she went to where she could smell multiple herbs from. She sniffed each one delicately and examined it before picking out one that looked and smelled like Brackenstorm had described. She gathered some up in her mouth and padded back to them. "These?"

He looked over and gave them a quick sniff before nodding. "Great, thank you. Sandshade here, eat these." he passed the leaves to the deputy with a concerned look.
