"A rocky slope in the middle of the territory that is hard to climb. There is a wide flat top. It has plants growing in between the rocks and cracks. In the night there is a great look of the night sky and is only a short walk away from the camp. You might find some birds at the top. In the day light it can be used to find an attacking patrol, find cats from a different clan, or to check up on a battle, and more. There is usually one apprentice or warrior stationed here at all times – it tests the abilities to react quickly."

Icefang struggled to climb the beautiful Outlook. She finally made it to the top, panting. "Worth... It...." she was able to get out, and she laid on the top, sun bathing.

Mintapple was curled up with his fluffy tail around his body at the top, his eyes blinking open. I must have fell asleep up here! Mintapple scrambled up to his paws but immediately dropped back down, feeling the wind flow through his swaying fur. He grinned ear-to-ear, opening his mouth to scent the beautiful smell of the air. Very Happy

Icefang realizes there's another cat by her. "Hi, Mintapple. I didn't see you up here! Isnt the lookout beautiful?" She smiled, flicking her tail happily.

"So, why'd you come all the way up here? I wanted to see the awesome sight. I kept hearing cats say how beautiful it was, so I wanted to see it for myself. But with kits weighing me down, its a pain getting all the way up here." Icefang mewed, staring into the sky.

"Ehh. It's really nothing. I just wanted to get away from camp for a while. With all that talking about the ancient battles with BoneClan and everything, it's just annoying me. I mean, it's the past, right? Why should we keep worrying about it now? We should focus what's present right now, so I decided to come out and enjoy the beautiful life and nature that surrounds us now." Mintapple finished his little speech and went back to grooming his fur casually, craning his head around to lick under his chest.

Foxpaw arrived here ahead of Fennecpaw, looking back at him and sticking his tongue out. "I win." He stated, glancing around after he spoke.

"Wha- you were just behind m-" he narrowed his eyes at Foxpaw. "How'd you do that" he laughed, feeling so utterly confused. He shook his head, and sniffed the air for prey. "Shall we hunt?" He asked

"Yeah," Foxpaw said, pausing before he scented. "You wanna have a challenge like last time? I bet i can get more than you." his eyes glinted, knowing that he was the better hunter of the two.

Fennecpaw scented the air and found his first target. "Well- I don't know-" He started, then bounded off "Go!" He called, signaling the start of the hunting challenge. He knew he was the lesser of the two brothers, when it comes to hunting.

Foxpaw smirked to himself, padding a little ways away to scent. He turned to where the smell of a vole was coming from by a pile of rocks and crouched low, beginning to stalk it. With perfect timing, he leaped right as it realized it was in danger and kill it before it could make a sound.
He scratched a shallow hole in the dirt, burying the vole to pick up later.

Fennecpaw followed a rabbit scent, and spotted it hopping around nibbling seeds only tail lengths away. He crouched and stealthily moved towards it. The rabbit looked up, saw him, and started to scamper away. Fennecpaw gave chase and bit into its neck, killing it swiftly. "Foxpaw has probably already caught ten mice" he snorted to himself

Foxpaw followed the second scent he had caught, which led to the base of a tree. He shot forward as a squirrel scurried away. He bit and killed it, only to be surprised as a second one shot out of the same spot, attempting to get away. He moved instinctively to get it, and bit it cleanly in the back of the neck to paralyze it. He killed it quickly, he didn't want it to suffer.

Fennecpaw could scent a sparrow around here somewhere. He stood still and glanced around, and then he spotted it. He crept towards it, then pounced, slamming his paws down on its back. He picked it up, and made a hole to burry the rabbit and sparrow in.

After a few more minutes of hunting, Foxpaw has caught an additional two mice. He carried them back to his little pile, and then looked around for Fennecpaw to draw the challenge to a close.

Fennecpaw made one more kill, a plump mouse. He padded back to his buried catch, and carried it back to where he had left Foxpaw. He dropped his catch proudly "A rabbit, a sparrow, and a mouse" he announced proudly, tail high. Little did he know, he had lost.

"Aw darn..." Foxpaw said with fake disappointment, letting him think that he'd won. "Because I have two mice, two squirrels and a vole." He smiled proudly.

Fennecpaw grinned at beginning of his words, knowing he had won. Then, his jaws gaped open as he heard the truth. "I thought I finally had you this time!" He snorted, lashing his tail with playful frustration.

"Never, Fennecpaw," Foxpaw said, still smiling. "Just accept that you'll never win," In the back of hid mind he knew that it was fair though, because his brother could beat him at fighting any day.

Fennecpaw sighed at the thought of going back to camp to their Foster mom. He looked sideways at Foxpaw, curious if he felt the same way about their mom's best friend.

Foxpaw twitched his ears. "At least she stopped paying attention to us once we became apprentices," He said. "Now she acts like she never knew us in the first place. Its better than being bullied by her." he clawed the ground, making furrows in the dirt.

"Me neither!" Fennecpaw exclaimed, relieved. "What shall we do then?" He dragged his paw through the dirt, bored without a clue. "We could patrol the borders and fight enemy clans" he playfully crouched and barred his teeth like an enemy cat

Foxpaw rolled his eyes. "Or we could hunt some more?" He suggested, although he didn't really feel like it. He had a feeling that he knew what Fennecpaw would suggest, if he was given the option. Fighting practice, oh joy.

"Sometimes," Foxpaw said, looking out into the forest. "Yeah, I do. I think its weird that no one has ever said anything about him to us,"
He brought a paw up and licked it, trying to cover up his reaction to the subject, but really he had started to realize that if they never knew who their father was, it must have been because he didn't want them.

"He could've been," Foxpaw said, frowning a little. "I mean, it would explain a lot of things," He kind of doubted it, but didn't want to admit that he sometimes wondered if it was one of the toms in DuskClan.

Zebrafire burst into the clearing here. She was glad to get away from the whining little voice of Fluffkit, demanding her to eat the worm. Shrugging, the black and white she~cat sniffed the air for any signs of prey. Suddenly, she heard the bark of a dog in the distance. She stood paralyzed, feeling it's stinky breathing on her neck. She bristled and jumped around, facing it. She immediately realized she couldn't take it on alone, so she headed for camp, forgetting she would lead it there frantically.

Tawnypaw skidded into the area, nearly tripping over a rock. "Well this is perfect." she muttered. It was raining considerably harder now, the kit's scent would be must harder to track.

Grasspaw clambered over the slippery rocks, nearly falling, and snuffling the wet grass. All she could find was the scent of rain, trickling down her muzzle as she went on quickly.

Another piece of Fluffkit's fur floated on top of Grasspaw's paws from the wind. She went on, finding a faint scent of her by some rocks, but failing at finding her.

Grasspaw hurried after the group, frowning. She followed the trail frantically, scrambling up slippery rocks and examining the fur; some of it was still left behind from the big brown dog.
