WaterClan/New Twolegplace border

Along the length of the old LeafClan territory border is the location of the new Twolegplace. WaterClan continues to mark this even though the stench of the Twolegs is sometimes too much to scent anything properly in the small amount of forest left.

Seashell trotted along the border, wrinkling her nose at the foul smell of Upwalkers. She sat down, casually cleaning her crumpled and muddy fur as she waited for Snailnose to catch up.

"I can only walk so fast!" Snailnose called, trotting up behind her. She could smell the sweet scent of fat, lazy pigeons nearby.

IC: Seashell rolled her eyes and purred. She glanced at the dimming light of the sky and yawned, already feeling tired of this journey to the border.
"Come on, let's hunt and get this over with," she snorted teasingly.

Snailnose nodded and hopped onto the wooden fence along the border, her claws flexing naturally and adjusting to grip it. She could see a few lazy birds pecking around in a soil patch on the other side next to a sapling.

Seashell clambered over some rocks uneasily.
"How can this be our border? It's just.... trees and rocks!" she complained.

"You're looking in the wrong place!" Snailnose called teasingly, flicking her tail. She hopped onto the soil, where a mourning dove pecked at the ground without a care in the world.

Seashell giggled and hopped down, honestly feeling a bit sorry for the dove with one wing. She sighed and parted her jaws for any other sign of prey, but only smelled the mere scent of rogues.
"Uh-oh, I smell rogues, Snailnose!" she yelped.

Snailnose pounced onto the dove and turned back, grinning. "Don't worry, Sea, I can handle a rogue." she mewed confidently.

cloud stumbled around in the under brush clumsily and tired maybe if I make it to one of the clans they will take me in.. my parents where always talking about the clans. she thought.

Snailnose padded warily to a bush where she spotted movement. Cautiously, she peeped into the bush, only to see a rather small and scrawny looking kit lying inside.
"Uhhhhh, Seashell?" she called.

Seashell padded up to the kit, muscles bunching.
"Are you sure, Snailnose? She may be a very small rogue going to attack." she mewed under her breath, glancing at the kit.

cloud bristled a little at this remark but said nothing. She looked at the cat called snailnose wait for her to answer. a rouge here to attack sure! as if I could do anything! she thought crossly then noticed snailnose said she would take her to waterclan. " you will? are you sure this clan called waterclan will take me in?" she asked

Seashell took a deep breath and shrugged. She rested her tailtip calmly on Cloud's shoulder.
"Sandstar, our leader, is very nice. I'm sure he'll let you let you in." she purred.
"We'll be your mothers, right, Snailnose?" she mewed confidently, although inside her nerves raged with how the Clan would think of them taking on a kit and going this far already.

"You look hungry, little kit. We'll get you some prey along the way." Seashell mewed gently, nudging Cloud on as she began to trot away, her tail resting on Snailnose's shoulder reassuringly.

Snailnose tore a wing off the dove she had caught and set it down besides Cloud.
"Well, I'm Snailnose, this pretty queen here is Seashell." she purred, giving Seashell a friendly shoulder bump.

"What's your name, little kit?" she asked, bending down to Cloud's exact height.

"When I was born, my mom thought my blue eyes were like the ocean swaying with curiosity, although my father thought of naming me Snowkit or Sandkit because of my fur and tan tailtip." she explained, lashing her tail.

"Er, they are the eldest, or oldest, well-respected cats of the Clan. Sometimes prisoners reside in the elders den, too." she explained, gingerly fumbling around with some sand underneath her paws.

"My Mom's in the twolegplace somewhere I think." Snailnose mewed, "I don't know, really, I haven't seen her in ages."

Realizing she shouldn't of said that to the little kit, Seashell's cheeks turned a bright beet red.
"Ummm, there is DuskClan, BrightClan, FrostClan, DuskClan, and FireClan." she explained.

"Don't worry, I'm sure the Clan'll love you!" Snailnose purred, giving Cloud a gentle lick behind the ear. "It's great there, I promise. All the warriors are really nice and the elders loooove telling stories and complaining, they're always grateful for little ears to listen to them!"
