Nightpelt twitched his whiskers at Redstar's sudden change of response and nodded to Darkshadow. "You can go ahead and lead a hunting patrol down by the north pine forest with Pebblesplash, Claypaw and Frostflame." He dipped his head and turned towards the warriors den, "Sparkfeather, Bitternfrost, Dakrwillow, you're on Brightclan border patrol with me!" He called out, waiting for the cat's to respond to him.

Darkwillow slipped out the warrior's den, her sharp green eyes standing out from her dark pelt as she quickly made her way towards her long-time friend.

Sparkfeather yawned and set outside when she heard her name. She was shocked when she felt snow on her paws. Snow!!!!

Bitternfrost looked up when he heard his name. He was in the middle of grooming his fur when he was called for a border patrol. He dipped his head in response and padded over, waiting for the rest of the cats to join.

Pebblesplash flicked Sootpatch with her tail as a friendly goodbye before bounding over to her hunting patrol. She was in quite the good mood, and her paws were itching to chase after some prey.

ic: Cloudpaw walked out of the apprentices den and over to the freshkill pile, her nose wrinkled. She looked around for Flamepaw, then walked over to her mentor Sparkfeather. "Are we doing anything today?"

Nightpelt sighed and flicked his tail at his former apprentice, "Just take him with you, we should get going now." He meowed, amused by the apprentice's eagerness. "Darkshadow, Foxpaw will come with you to replace Claypaw, he'll be joining us." He informed the tom with a brief nod.

Darkwillow purred and got up on her paws, shaking the snow off and waiting for Sparkfeather to join the patrol.

Darkshadow flicked his tail. " Yes, you." He answered the apprentice. He then summoned his patrol with a flick of his ear, and headed out of camp with one last glance at the nursery.

Littlelily looked Down at the kits. She smiled and looked over at Darkshadow as he left. She got to her paws and looked over at Littlefire. "I'm getting something to eat, want anything?"

Mistkit flung herself outside and into the snow. "Wheeee!! " she shouted as she fell towards the white stuff.

Sweetkit gasped. "Snow!" She jumped out and padded it down with her paws. "Look Littlefire! Snow!"

Shadowkit was mewing for his mother. He couldn't see anything. He was cold, but not that cold.

Littlelily smiled and followed Littlefire out.

Shadowkit still couldn't see anything. But finally he decided he wanted to see where his mother went. He opened his eyes and gasped. Where was he?

Mistkit grabbed a pawful of snow and tossed it at Sweetkit. Then she scampered off.

Flintkit stood, giving his shoulder to Sunkit. Flintkit already looked three moons older than he was supposed to be, but he thought nothing of it. "You seem better." he frowned, remembering what had hit Sunkit on the head.

Sunkit got up, then turned around, wanting to ask if he was okay. He looked around, he spotted his mother, looking at the medicine den hopefully.

Redfox groomed her fur, she stared at the medicine cat den. Sighing as looked at the cold, bittern snow. She turned to Maplesong. "I hope he's okay."

Maplesong nodded, stepping in the snow and curiously making her way to the prey pile. "Seems empty." She murmured, making her way out of the camp.

Flintkit picked out a squirrel, biting down on it carefully. I wonder if Redstar remembered. he thought to himself, before picking up his squirrel and going over to Littlelily. "Hey, Littlelily? Do you think Redstar remembered our apprentice ceremonies?" he asked through a mouthful of fur.

Darkfrost woke up at the next dawn still hidden in the bush with Snowfeather. He gave her a quick nuzzle before heading out since he needed to do some deputy duties. Not knowing that he had overslept until he got out of his sleeping place, he decided he better check with the other deputy to see if there was anything he could do to help. "Nightpelt?"

IC: Redstar wrapped her tail around Milkweed and shot a thankful glance to her mate. "I will soon, okay?" she responded absentmindedly. Her thoughts were occupied by the two kits they had found in the snow. "Right now I need to announce of these kits and help them settle with Acornwhisker in the nursery." she realized she was being a bit harsh to her apprentice, so she got up and gave him a gentle lick on his forehead. "I promise."

Barley cowered between Acornwhisker's paws, scared of the Clan cats.
