New Twolegplace | Northern Section

IC: Shard led her group into the twolegplace, squinting to peer through the thick morning fog to the land ahead of her. It was definitely different than her old home, but the huge structures around her were at least reminiscent of it. She turned around to face her gang, still feeling the sting of recently loosing a few members to DuskClan.

OOC: This is the same group with Min in it , right?

Syrup followed, her eyes squinted and tired. Her fur was damp and she shivered in the cold morning air. "Is this it?" She asked as she shook off a few damp leaves that stuck to her paws.

Kia blinked the fog out of her eyes as she studied the new home of the group. She fluffed up her fur as a few dew drops from the trees up ahead fell onto her.

"This place isn't protected at all." Min remarked. "I haven't caught a sniff of prey since we got here."

Hazel frowned. "Maybe some of us should go out hunting." she suggested.

Nut, still terrified, cowered nearby his sister. "U-uh.. m-maybe?" he stuttered.

Chestnut startled sniffling. I miss mom... "Maybe the adults will hunt for us?" he squeaked hopefully at his siblings.

"It was this or get hunted down." Shard snapped at Min, "I'd rather starve than lose my life to a bunch of mangy Clan cats. I know the beach is near here, and that has some prey at least, so can it!"

Hazel nodded. "Hopefully." she sighed .

OOC @Skybreeze didn't you have a kit?

OOC: Yea, I've got River.

River narrowed his eyes and lifted his chin high, "Pff, we can easily catch prey! Come on Chestnut, don't be a whiny kit." He meowed, twitching his whiskers in pride.

Kia flattened her ears as she eyed River, after a few heartbeats of a menacing glare, she looked back up to Min, awaiting her next orders.
~
Syrup stretched, "Hey, I know how to fish so I could take a few down to the beach." She pointed out with a grin.

"There must be something better," Min muttered, ears flattened.
She broke off from the group, nose pressed against the ground. She picked up an alarming fresh scent of fox, and lifted herself up, growling. "Fox."

Kia was right by her side in an instant, she scented the air as well and gave a brief nod. "What do we do?" She asked calmly, eyes laid on the red fur that appeared and disappeared in the thick fog.

Syrup flicked her tail questionably as Min darted away with Kia following.

IC: Nut mewed, jumping behind River. "F-fox?" he asked.

Hazel fluffed up her fur. "It can't hurt us." she growled.

River snorted, "Oh please, they can't do anything except for a scratch to us. Dad even killed one by himself." He meowed, rolling his eyes at Nut.

Nut frowned. "Yes but he's a good fighter." he muttered.

"Foxes bite more than they scratch! Mommy told me!" Chestnut whimpered, "Their bites can break a kit's spine!"

Shard puffed up and trotted toward the fox, ears laid back. "We need to intimidate it!" she hissed, "Don't run."

Nut whimpered at the fox, crouching. "It's scary..." he whimpered.

Hazel fluffed up her fur, hissing at the fox.

River gave another snort of dibeleif, "Yea, because kits are helpless. We aren't. "He meowed, hissing at the fox, although his fur stood on end as it glared at him.

Kia bared her teeth at the fox, "Should we circle it, then it'll be trapped." She suggested.
~
Syrup unsheathed her claws, her legs trembling and her mouth going dry. "But then it could jump at one of us." She meowed, flattening her ears at the red furred fox that was a few foxtails away from them now.

Ooc: this is mins group right?) 

Ic: Shadow rose calmly from where she was sitting. She walked up to the younger cats, eyeing the fox. " it can't hurt us. There is way to many of us for it to even think of attacking." She told them softly. 

Sand was crouched under a bush, staring at the fox whose gaze was locked onto the kits. She trembled, her sandy fur bushing up. Why did I leave momma and dust to come to this group! I've been here less then a day and a fox could kill me already! She thought crossly. 

Wind slithered up beside min and shard. " do we attack it or scare it Untill it leaves?" She asked, her paws itching to fight.

Taylor padded along the dark alleyway. He wished Breeze could be with him right now. He sighed

Hazel hissed. "We're not kits!" she hissed. "Well... they are."

Nut glared at his sister, but his thin body said otherwise. "Shh!" he mewed.

River rolled his eyes, "Hazel, you are a kit sometimes." He laughed with a snort.
The fox let out a sort of deep growl from inside it's throat and it was glaring at the cat's in the front, which were Kia, Min, Shard and Wind.

Hazel glared at River. "So are you..." she replied. Big muppet.

Nut watched the two and the fox, shivering.

Shard shuffled towards the fox, puffed up and snarling. "I've dealt with plenty of these in my time, just keep away from its jaws and you'll be fine!" she yelled back to the group while still staring down the fox.

Chestnut ducked behind Nut, giving off pathetic whimpers.

"I can't live like this. I might die in this group. I need to leave soon" Taylor whisperedt to himself, his tail snaking along the rough, hard, ground.

Hazel rolled her eyes at Nut and Chestnut. Scaredy-cats.

Nut crouched down, shivering in fear. "I wish Mommy or Daddy were here..."

River frowned and twitched his ears, "Shut your mouth or someone else other then the fox will attack you." He hissed through his teeth to Nut, angling his ears towards Min.

Kia nodded and dug her claws into the dirt, wanting to claw at it's face. "Do we attack now?" She asked, her fur bristling.

OOC: min isn't here; she's a prisoner in DuskClan right now XD

IC: Nut whimpered, crouching down. "I don't like it here." he cried quietly.

OOC: Uh, she's definitely not. They escaped a long time ago, and I posted with her above?? 

IC: 

Min growled, swiping her tail in front of the kits. "Be quiet for once, would you?" she hissed and prowled forward, at Shard's side. The fox swayed heavily, glaring at each and every cat.

OOC: HOW AM I SO BLIND...

IC: Nut jumped back in surprise, nearly falling on Chestnut but moving out the way before he went splat.

Hazel snickered slightly, before standing up straight and attempting to intimidate the fox.

"What did I tell you?" Min whipped around, snarling in Hazel's face before turning back and leaping at the fox. It swiftly dodged her blow and went straight for the kits.

Hazel flinched slightly, her fur still bristling. I wish the fox would kill her. she thought darkly. She killed mom.

Shadow, who was beside the kits launched herself at the nearing fox. She rammed into its side, senting it yelping and sliding to the left.

Taylor launched himself at the fox, his claws swiftly slicing through russet fur. He grabbed onto it back and held on as the fox whipped him around.

OOC: guys just a reminder, don't get too carried away and op on battling, let ur cats get injured ;3

Kia rushed at the fox, managing to claw it's nose, but was soon rammed out of the way by it's shoulder and into a tree.

Syrup trembled as the fox glared at her, she ran up and slid underneath, standing up on the other side and bit it's tail, soon enough letting go and stumbling away as she was kicked in  the eye by it's hind leg.

River widened his eyes at the sudden attacks and inched away from the commotion.

Hazel charged at the fox, skidding under it and raking her claws under it's stomach before being kicked away, landing with a thud against a tree.

Min angled her ears back, baring her teeth at the creature. She sent a hard blow at its muzzle and dug her claws into its spine, before the protective mother fox shook her off and pinned her down.

Kia widened her eyes at Min being pinned down and quickly limped up and threw herself on the fox, sinking her teeth into it's spine. It caused the fox to whip around, lashing it's tail and lunging for Kia next.

Shard snarled and charged towards the fox, puffed up, and crashed into it snarling. 

Chestnut yelped and darted away towards one of the unfinished twoleg nests.

Nut took one last glance at Hazel and the fox before charging after Chestnut.

Syrup blinked her eyes open, or at least one of them. The injured eye was filled with blood and stung, causing syrup to whimper.

Kia glanced at the helpless member of the gang, but shrugged it off, knowing her responsibilities were to Min. She dodged the lunging fox in time , her fur filled with sticky blood and sweat.

Tiger raked his claws across the fox's eye, but getting a bite on his flank. Flinching back, he charged back at the fox, biting it's leg.

Taylor winced as the fox raked his flank. Blood welled through his fur like a stream flowing. His staggered back

Kia hissed, head-butting into the fox's three feet that were waving about free, whilst Tiger held onto it's leg. The fox stumbled and fell from the sudden hit coming out of nowhere. Kia panted and whipped around, hissing at the fox, although her pain shown and the blood on her fur tinting it red.

OOC: I'm going to add a few more cats to the group if  that's okay?

Squirrel watched from above a tree and slithered across the thin branch with her light and agile body. She eyed the fox for a few heartbeats and jumped down from the tree onto it's back, digging her claws into it 's fur to hold on as it tried bucking her off.

"Don't get too involved! Try to scare it off!" Shard shouted, not wanting any more injured. She sauntered towards the fox, puffed up.

Kia nodded and hissed at the fox, her fur poofed up making her look twice the size she really was.

Squirrel sprang off the fox before it banged her into a tree. She cursed under her breath as one of her claws broke off, causing her paw to bleed.

Syrup nodded, gulping and lashed her claws at the fox, but from a safe distance. "It doesn't seem scared, just mad!" She remarked.

Kia twitched her whiskers, "Maybe we could circle it, It might panic with claws at every direction." She pointed out , dodging a blow from the fox's feeble attempt at striking her with it's paw.
~
Delta widened her eyes at the fox as she just had found the group after hunting. She dropped her mouse and flattened her ears. "What do I do?" She called over, hoping she could prove herself to Minkura or Shard by fighting the fox.

The fox looked over the group, then trotted away towards DuskClan.
Shard gave a howl of victory.

Taylor ducked down away from the crowd of cats. He backed away slowly, before running away, as fast as he could. I need to find Breeze. He thought.


OOC: Sorry people the ship was calling

Nut glanced at Chestnut, slowly creeping back towards the barn then running to Hazel, his eyes wide. "Sis?" he asked in a quiet voice.

Kia sighed in relief and sat down to clean her wounds.

Squirrel smirked, but soon her smile faded away as she remembered her missing claw. "Great, it took me a whole moon to make them shiny and sharp." She fussed, licking her paw.

Syrup grinned, "Hah! Take that you mouse-brained coward!" She yowled.
~
Delta flattened her ears in disappointment, wanting to fight the fox or at least give it one scratch.

Nut glanced back at the cats. "Hey! My sister!" he yelled, upset.
