The Mountain Quarry || Quarry Camp

In a dip between two mountains, an old Twoleg-created mine has collapsed partially and created a sheltered area which creates a perfect camp for a group of cats. One side is made of the mountain, while the collapsed rock forms a makeshift wall reaching around the area in a half-moon shape. The bottom of this collapsed rock is laced with thorns, and the only way to get into the camp is through the thickest part, where a tunnel has been created. A small stream that spurts from a crack in the rock has carved a path through the centre of the camp, where it collects in a pool and seeps into the ground.

Flavia flicked her tail as she padded out of her cave on the smooth stone of the quarry, she quickly flicked her gaze around a bit, her eyes squinted as the wind pushed the snow around. "Fjord, how much prey has been out and active in the forest?" She called over to the trusted tom in worry. Fox-dung snow is going to ruin everything, how are we supposed to survive in this? She thought to herself in annoyance, the thought having an ally wander back into her mind.

Fjord frowned. "Barely any," he meowed. "I could take someone and go deeper out into the territory where it isn't snowing." he suggested with a shrug.

Blade stretched and yawned, sitting in his spot in the snow. "I could come with you. If you need help," he almost sneered a little.

Flavia nodded briefly, "You can try, I don't know about this weather though." She agreed, ruffling her fur up quickly for warmth, "But.. try to be back before anything gets worse." She indicated in slight worry.

Blade rolled his eyes. "We will, no need to fuss over us like we're kits."

Blink simply watched the other cats from her crack in the rock walls.

Flavia narrowed her eyes and only snorted in half amusement at the confident tom, "Alright then, don't blame me if you freeze to death." She mrowed, curling her tail around her paws neatly.

Fjord rolled his eyes in amusement and led Blade out of the small cave, nearly jumping out of his fur at the howling wind outside. "Mouse-dung, I didn't realize it was this bad!" he growled.

Flavia snorted, "Hah! As my trust advisor, I thought you'd be all-knowing of your surroundings by now." She meowed sarcastically.

A crack in the branches over head interrupted Fjord's question as Aleser hissed in surprise as a small branch fell. "Mouse-dung!" He meowed, startled, however he quickly made his way down the tree and onto the ground. "Anyone seen Scoop?" He questioned whilst stretching his hind-legs casually.

Flavia flicked her ear, "Nice to see you too, Aleser. And no, Scoop hasn't been here since dawn." She responded wit ha slight shrug.

Almost on command, Scoop appeared from behind a bush completely covered in snow. His partially white pelt blended in to it, but he was quickly noticeable again as rain began to pour down on the grounds. Scoop bounded over to Aleser and immediately took cover in their camp.

Aleser let out a mrow of amusement as his half-brother sped past him for shelter. "Well then, I guess I'll be joining that patrol without you!" He purred, trotting over to Fjord with a quick nod.

Fjord led Aleser out of the makeshift camp and sighed with relief when it was just a light rain and no more snow. "Thank the stars!" he meowed, letting his paws sink into the satisfying slush from the melted snow.

OOC: Lol the weather was a snowstorm and now its a light rain. Basically they just stood out there for about a season and half. Lol

IC: Aleser nodded with a purr, "Where to?" He asked, his eyes trailing after a beetle that was buzzing around them.

"How about the Birch Forest?" Fjord suggested, looking up the mountains in the distance. "There should be plenty of rabbits coming out of their holes now that the snow has stopped."

Onyx padded nearer to the camp entrance, deciding not to disturb them. She scented a mouse nearby but refrained. Somehow I don't think Slash would appreciate me smelling of prey from his territory, she thought wryly, smirking a little and waiting for someone to notice.

Blade stretched, feeling the fur rippling along his spine, when he scented a strange cat. "Fjord," he hissed softly.

Aleser twitched his ears, and frowned. "There's someone here." He meowed in agreement with Blade's warning. His claws unsheathed and his muscles tensed in case they would need to fight.

IC: Aleser eyed Onyx suspiciously, and opened his jaws slightly to scent her. At once, he recognized the rogue smell and nodded. "Alright, but don't try anything foolish, we've got our ways." He meowed, flicking his tail towards the den where Flavia stayed in.

Onyx dipped her head and padded into the camp. "Flavia?" she called, her tail swishing.
Blade eyed her angrily, while Blink simply watched from her vantage point.

Flavia stretched quickly and sauntered out her den. As soon as she recognized the familiar she-cat, her eyes flashed with surprise. "What are you doing here?" She questioned, eying Onyx closely in suspicion.

Onyx dipped her head. "I'm aware I'm intruding, and I apologise. But there are a collection of groups living near the Clan territories who have decided to help me invade the Clans." Her eyes shone with some unknown emotion, but the passion of her words were clearly shown in the way she held herself, tall and unwavering. "Would you like to join? There will be a meeting, then we attack tonight, while they rip themselves apart."

Flavia frowned and took a quick glance to where Fjord was, hoping he'd give her a reassuring nod, but they had already left for their hunting patrol. the almost white she-cat pondered for a while and nodded briefly, "Alright, but I'm not going to force my cats to die. I'd like to know of your plans before we attack." She meowed, her eyes narrowed.

"Hence the meeting." Onyx replied a little curtly. "I would never willingly put your cats in danger, Flavia," she added with a small purr, turning tail and 'accidentally' flicking the white cat's ear with her tail. "The meeting will be at the Old Mineshaft. Bring your strongest cats."

Flavia flinched back with a wrinkled nose in annoyance. She held her chin up and nodded briefly, "Fine, I'll be there." She meowed, hoping to forget any memories in the past with Onyx, and most importantly not to show affection.

Aleser hummed as he followed Fjord towards the hunting grounds.
