Redstar nodded and padded outside, approaching her FireClan patrol. "Dapplestar wants you all to meet outside. I'll be there in a moment." she instructed.

Tawnyfrost frowned. "Can we ask what for?" he stood, looking at Redstar.

"I'm not sure yet," Redstar responded. "But it's definitely something involving our defense against BrightClan and DuskClan."

Cloverlily looked over her shoulder as the FireClan patrol gathered outside of camp, and she narrowed her eyes. "I'll be back in a second, Marshfeather," she mewed. "I want to go see what's going on."

"Not so fast." Dapplestar growled, cutting off the deputy. "I need you to meet with me. I'm going to get some of the senior warriors outside, stay at the entrance."

Marshfeather ducked back into the crowd, bumping into Rippleshade.
Rippleshade nearly jumped out of his skin as Marshfeather touched him.
Turtlesplash trotted to Sandstar's side.

Birchstripe sent a reluctant glance at the WaterClan group, then followed Redstar out of camp.

Twistedleg flicked his tail, "Seems like I should be leaving now." He meowed, hearing Sandstar summon the patrol to start heading back, "It was nice talking, Mistleleaf says hello of course." He meowed half-heartedly as he slipped out the den and limped after his clan.

Graytail nodded his goodbye and turned to the two apprentices, "Longpaw, why don't you and Falconpaw go grab something to eat? You've been working practically all day." He half chuckled.

OOC: They're not leaving yet lol
IC: Longpaw nodded eagerly and bounded out of the medicine den. He picked out two fresh voles for him and Falconpaw, then trotted back to his friend to eat. "Here you are," he dropped the plump vole in front of Falconpaw. He took a bite, and nodded slowly. "Eugh! My stomach has been growling all day! I'm so glad I can finally eat something." he purred.

Ivyfeather walked out of her den and nearly fell over when she saw FireClan and WaterClan. How did they get here? Was it a raid? She glanced around but calmed down as she saw the other medicine cats from the clans. Dapplestar must of called them here. Don't over-work yourself, Ivyfeather. She padded out to go say hi.

Heatherglow bounded over to where Longpaw and Falconpaw were sharing tongues and brought over her own black bird from the pile, crouching down beside them. "Hello guys! What's up?" She meowed, curling her tail around her.

Longpaw swallowed his last morsel of prey and shook out his fur, purring in greeting to his old friend, Heatherglow. "Hi! Well, nothing much. Soraflight and Ivyfeather are chatting so I figured I'd take a small snack." he responded, not wanting to bring up how dismissive Twistedleg had been to Falconpaw.

Feckledrose, overhearing the leader was a bit dazed at first. Catching cats? Why in the world would they want to kidnap Brightclan cats? She wondered for a few seconds if it was against the warrior code in a sort of way, but couldn't seem to remember anything to do with the situation.

Ripplefang stood up, his ears perking forward and up with interest, "I can join, if it's needed." He meowed, his voice smooth and seemingly trustworthy.

"We need specific cats." Dapplestar announced, "I need two fast cats to go with Redstar to the base of the mountain and anyone who feels comfortable in the tunnels to join me. We'll be luring a patrol over the border, so don't volunteer willy-nilly. If you decide to overestimate your own running ability, you could very well end up dead. Redstar will explain the plan in more detail to the runners. Everyone else can stay here and acquaint themselves. If we're going to be allies, we should try to get as close as possible."

OOC: Dapplestar is sending a few cats down to brightclan to lure cats into their territory to take hostage. the ones who will trap them are going to be waiting in the tunnels.

Oakpaw sat at the fresh kill pile, looking around boredly. He flexed his claws.

Ibispaw let out an enormous yawn, padding up beside Oakpaw and grabbing a fresh vole from the prey pile. "Hey, Oakpaw!" he mewed cheerily as he took a heaping bite from the juicy pick.

Maplepaw paced angrily in a circle. I want to see the territory! I don't want to be here like i'm still a kit! She screamed internally. She let out a growl and got something from the fresh kill pile. She looked up at Ibispaw and Oakpaw. "Hi!" She chirped happily as she grabbed a vole.

Dapplestar flicked her tail. "Heatherglow, Lunarshine, Redstar. Go to the border of BrightClan. Gingerwolf, Lynxfang, Cloverlily, Ripplefang, Doespring. Join me in the tunnels." she grumbled, trying to include a few non-FrostClan cats to make the others feel better about themselves. "Anyone else is welcome to patrol along the DuskClan border and prepare the ground for intrusion."

Oakpaw pricked his ears as he heard his mentors name, then sighed as he realized it wasnt training or anything he could do with her. He looked over at Maplepaw. " So! Its called instinct, all cats have it." He glared at her.

Blackfrost nodded. " that was just what i was about to ask you." She flicked a paw and walked towards the camp entrance and ducking out.
