Appearance: Quiet Lion is shorter than her brother but more muscular, having more the build of a Clan cat. Her fur is also thick, slick, and extremely soft. Her coloring differs from the coloring of her brother. Whereas the other is a soft gray, her fur is a shocking yellow tabby with white markings. Her fur is a yellowish orange color and his stripes are ginger. Lion has white on her muzzle, throat, chest and belly, along with on her paws and legs. On the underside of her tail, toward the tip, the yellowish fur turns lighter so it looks white. Lion’s eyes are a grayish green that change with her surroundings.

Personality: No matter how delicate Quiet Lion may seem, her tongue is anything but. This young cat is as abrasive as they come. For all her vow of pacifism, Quiet Lion is far from helpless armed as she is with sharp words and a swift wit. Yet her outward prickley nature stems from a deeply rooted anxiety; fed by insecurities and uncertainty about how suited she is to her role. There’s more, like with any cat, than first meets the eye and a perceptive cat will rapidly uncover quite how much of Quiet Lions’s bluster hides

fear. Quiet Lion loves her work and wishes desperately to make the greenclaws proud – nothing else has mattered to her since she accepted the position. She works hard, tirelessly pushing herself through memorization exercises and often found in her downtime sorting through their stores. She is dedicated to her The North Wind above all else. One notable thing is that she adamantly declines any form of combat training, speaking at length about her decision to avoid drawing his claws in violence. Quiet Lion is an adamant pacifist; something she dedicated herself to when he began her training. Her paws are for healing, her heart untainted by bloodshed – she is determined to keep things this way. She is, perhaps, highly naïve in this respect.

History: Quiet Lion is one half of an odd little set. Born to Winter Leaf, a dark furred Hunter who opted to keep the identity of their father to herself (a mating of convenience, she’d tell them one day later, a favour to result in kits and nothing more). To her was born two kits, brother and sister, the elder slight of build and the younger chubby and broad – both kits were born healthy, a pleasure for their mother and a joy for the Clan. A healthy Tom and She-kit, wriggling and mewling and – above all else – strong. Born on the cusp of greenleaf and leaf-fall, to go through their kithood in relative warmth, it seemed that the stars had smiled upon them. There was little chance of losing either.

The prognosis proved true and the kits began to grow, opening their little kit-blue eyes and exploring the nursery. Gradually expanding their world, step by laborious little step, until the entire camp was their playground and the territory beyond it the stuff of whispered, eager fantasies. From an early age the kits where high energy, frisking around the nursery and whispering together long into the night. Yet it was quickly apparent that while Summer Leaf turned his energy to gregarious pursuits, Quiet Lion was less outgoing. She hid behind her brother, stalwartly refusing to meet the eyes of cats she met and responding in short, mumbled comments. While she was regularly observed interacting warmly and openly with her mother and brother she seemed unable to react in kind to any other cat – a concern for those who took interest in the kits.

Yet as the kits grew it was clear that while she was certainly shy and easily overwhelmed, there was nothing wrong with the little kit’s mind. She was as mentally robust as her brother; it remained an enigma, though one time Winter Leaf went to great lengths to work around. She introduced her daughter to few cats at a time, taking particular care in establishing a connection between her and the elders and other queens. Cats who could, in general, be trusted to be gentle with him. Under her careful guidance, Quiet Lion began to slowly flourish – yet nothing lasts forever.

Red Wind was born a moon after Quiet Lion and Summer Leaf. Her brother bonded fast to the other kit who himself grew up loud and outgoing, far more inclined to pester the fighters for tales of glories or to lead them from camp than Quiet Lion. It was the social interaction which bound Quiet Lion’s young paw and she grew frustrated; she wasn’t so different to Red Wind and Summer Leaf. She wanted to explore the territory as much as they did, her paws itched and she ached with the desire to explore and learn – but her tongue tangled in the face of the rest of the Clan. Slowly the fighters became the majority of his company, Summer Leaf darting off on adventures with Red Wind which Quiet Lion was too nervous to follow him on.

Slowly shyness became sullenness. The stories no longer satisfied the itch and yet she still couldn’t bring herself to embark on the adventures of her littermate and denmate. Summer Leaf’s mind became a mystery to her brother, the younger of the litter spending less and less time with her. It was through no fault of his own, the elder’s den and nursery were far too narrow a world for such an outgoing kit. Yet still Quiet Lion’s resented it in the confused, emotional way of kits who have no way to process feelings such as resentment and jealousy.

Yet somewhere amidst her sulking, newfound temper Quiet Lion managed to foster a very natural sense of compassion. She was five moons when a kitmother went into labour; the only cats remaining in the nursery were kits – Summer Leaf listened to her wretched cries with shock. Red Wind fled to find help quickly, proving the best under pressure among them. Quiet Lion, well, Quiet Lion found that her cries pulled at something in her chest. It left her aching and sad, slowly she crawled over to her, pressing herself against her side and grooming her fur.

It felt like an eternity before Winter Leaf arrived, Red Wind and a greenclaw hot on her heels. She swept up Summer Leaf, herding him from the nursery and almost missed her eldest pressed against the labouring queen. She left him for a moment, observing him carefully before she gathered him up and out of the path of the real help and out of the nursery – this was, perhaps, the most important event in the kit’s short life.

What followed was a moon of his mother hinting, nudging and pressing him towards the medicine cat’s den. In her gentle way she began to teach her kits that there was more than one way to serve the group – for some it was with claws and fangs, for others it was a permanent home in the nursery, for others it was herbs and their ancestors. All paths, she informed them, growing firm when Summer Leaf scrunched up his nose at the idea of being anything less than a hunter, all paths were equal. All paths important.

Quiet Lion listened in awe, her head told her that it was best to just toe the line. Become a fighter, defend the group, but part of her pulled in another direction. The cries of the pained, laboured kitmother echoed in her mind, she wasn’t sure that she could bring herself to inflict pain on another cat. The way the sound left her aching, she simply wasn’t sure he had the nerve. It was scarcely something she could voice to her brother who spoke loudly with Red Wind about how they were going to be the best hunters in The North Wind.

also it mentions in the history she COULDN'T become a green coldpaw so?

im pretty sure the spine thing isn't a real thing that could happen but idk about that

I Tried to make it less confusing, made it so she is a green-coldpaw, and her legs are supposed to be an extreme case of limb weakness.

the link is to leg paralysis, if she had that she wouldn't be able to move, feel, anything to her back legs - not even walk on them. i think.

This part also kinda confuses me
"She wasn't the only kit in the nursery at the time, but she wasn't very talkative or close to anyone other than her mother or close family as a kit, so her aunt Swift Wind, came to keep her company."

Ill shorten it, because i swear it should make sense this time:

Lion and Leaf are born, Lion is the shyer one, hiding behind her brother, her father was absent, and her brother left her for his friend Red wind. Basically the other parts are just her without Leaf and how she becomes a Green-coldpaw, which she made the descision after seeing a kitmother give birth.

Her appearance is confusing as well, and if her pelt was really that thin, she would've died in her first winter. North Wind cats are supposed to all have some sort of Norwegian Forest cat or Maine Coon heritage so her fur should be thick, not thin.
