Glancing over to Tigerstorm, Robinstar nodded, tail flicking from side to side as she attempted to shake away any doubt. "Right. We'll need the normal patrols as well as some to check what's around us, what damage has been done," she started, nodding to herself. "Prey is the first priority," she added after, thinking on the spot.

Hazelclaw's ears pricked up in acknowledgement as she heard her leader's decision for the next steps of the Clan. The she-cat stepped forward, eager to help. Still, there was a little tug of her consciousness that also did not want to overstep boundaries. After all, that was a lesson that had taken a long time as an apprentice for her to fully understand. "I can take part in a hunting patrol right now," she offered as she stepped into the conversation, dipping her head at Tigerstorm and Robinstar. She knew that her specialization as a hunter might come into play for the good of the Clan, and it seemed that part of her duty would be to ease the burden off the other exhausted cats. "Ready to leave as soon as possible."

IC: Willowpaw had watched as Scorchthicket escorted the WaterClan leader away, her amber eyes narrowing the slightest bit. She looked back to Fallowpaw and Basilpaw. "It's not normal for another clan's leader to show up like that, right?"

Riverswoop watched the interaction and barely flicked his whiskers. He moved away from the medicine cats and towards his mate, licking her ear in greeting. "Hey, did you sleep okay?"

Sootpaw licked Daisypaw's ear gently. "We should probably get up and help. Basilpaw's doing it."

Willowpaw flattened her ears and sighed. "They might be interesting but they might not mean well for us," she mewed, shaking her head.

Scorchthicket padded back from the border and went immediately to Robinstar, stopping beside her. "I told Turtlestar," he began, keeping his voice low, "She seemed sympathetic, but I feel like there was more to it than that. We should be cautious." He sighed, stretched out, and yawned. "I'm going to get some rest like Tulipsnow said. Wake me if I'm needed." The black and ginger tom padded off with a respectful dip of his head, curling up in a patch of sunlight to drift off.

Lizardthorn padded into the makeshift camp with her fur fluffed, a small rabbit in her jaws, and dumping it on the ground. "I can smell snow on the air," she huffed.

Coldfoot padded out from underneath the tree hollow he had been sheltering the injured cats in, feeling a chill creep through his bones.

Hawksky blinked awake, the heaviness in his chest subsiding. "Tulipsnow?" he mewed gently, unable to see clearly in the darkness of the hollow.

"I mean, in theory they do. But isn't it part of the code that the leader's word is law?" Willowpaw countered, tilting her head. "If Turtlestar told them to attack us, listening to her is what the code would call for." The tortoiseshell shrugged and picked up a smaller branch, waving her tail as she began to drag it back.

"I...I don't...think I did..." he rasped. He shakily reached towards the moss sitting in front of him. As he lapped at it he felt the dust grasp at his heart. What if I die? What if I never see her...I never tell her.

"Well, they do eat fish," Fallowpaw mused, "I don't see why they'd want our territory."

Bramblepaw blinked awake, suddenly aware of the pain in his shoulder again. It had subdued slightly, enough for him to regain composure. He glanced at Hawksky with worry, before looking up at Tulipsnow. "W-" A jolt of agony shot through him as he tried to shift into a more comfortable position. He gasped slightly, clenching his eyes and letting his shoulder fall into looseness again. "Will Hawksky be okay? It was my fault that... That we got hurt..."

Bramblepaw looked up at her, then back down at the last feverfew. He chewed on it slightly, scrunching his face up at the bitter taste. "It was the last one..." he whispered once he had settled, careful not to jostle his shoulder. He felt so useless. "If I had just stayed with the group, nobody would've gotten hurt..." He sent another glance to Hawksky, lips tight.

Bramblepaw smiled humourlessly. "You can barely breathe. It's just my shoulder," he shifted painfully, keeping a straight face. "How proud Scorchthicket must be," he drawled, sarcasm seeping through his voice. "Barely my first two moons of training and I'm already messing up," He lowered his eyes, resting his chin on his paw.

Tulipsnow watched them interact, managing to shake a few seeds from the poppy heads retrieved earlier. "It's not your fault, Bramblepaw. A Clan looks after their Clanmates, and that's what Hawksky was doing." She glanced at the tom, eyes bright with affection and admiration. "The fact that you're still alive means SoulClan wants you here."

It is snowing, except in FireClan where it is still strangely warm

A long, hollow rumbling puts everyone on edge, kit, warrior, elders alike. The ground shakes, almost gently at first, before a booming rumble jolts the earth beneath your paws just as it had at the Gathering last night.

Almost immediately, DuskClan cats become aware that this earthquake was different. The deafening crash of rocks and cracking of earth panic everyone.

Coldfoot was jolted off his feet by the tremor. "Tulipsnow!" he called, voice lined with panic.

Fallowpaw shrieked, digging her claws into the roots of the tree she stood on as the whole forest shook.

Ebonyrose stumbled to the ground, curling her tail over her head as twigs showered around her.

Hawksky's eyes widened and he stumbled protectively to Bramblepaw, prepared to defend the apprentice against the quake.

Scorchthicket darted to Ebonyrose first, shielding her from the falling twigs by leaning over her.

Willowpaw cried out in a panic, scrambling closer to a tree and digging her claws into it.

Kindleflame curled herself around Kitekit and Wisteriakit, squeezing her eyes shut.

Palesmoke and Dawnflower pressed against each other for support, eyes tightly shut and their fur fluffed. The sisters dug their claws into the earth beneath them.

Softecho yelped and darted to Adderfang, pressing against his side for some semblance of comfort.

Bramblepaw let out a sharp gasp as the earth jolted beneath him, the joint in his shoulder letting out an agonizing burning sensation. He struggled to catch his breath as it spasmed uncontrollably. Pain shot through him.

Coalpaw swallowed and darted to Willowpaw. "Are you okay?!"

Dustmask ran out towards his sisters, panic lacing his stature.

Daisypaw collapsed after being caught off-guard by the jolt, inhaling sharply. "Another one?!"

Sootpaw fluffed up in fright, crouching next to Daisypaw.

Tulipsnow stayed beside Hawksky and Bramblepaw, her eyes wide but keeping her cool.

Riverswoop, spotting Wisteriakit with her eyes closed against the ground, managed to move and stand over his kit.

Lizardthorn dug her claws into the ground to stay upright, but didn't immediately relax. "Was anyone out on patrol?!" she called as the earth slowed until it stilled again.

Hawksky slowed his breathing, fur spiked. "I think it's over," he gave a pained laugh, eyes wide.

Coldfoot rose shakily and limped to the makeshift medicine den, favoring his left leg as he walked.

Ebonyrose felt the fur on her face warm. "Scorchthicket," she mewed, looking at the tom with wide eyes, "Are you alright?"

Fallowpaw shook the twigs out of her fur then darted to her siblings. "Are you hurt?" she mewed.

Bramblepaw clenched his eyes tightly, breath heavy as his shoulder throbbed. "That was.... there was another one?" He tried looking up at Hawksky but hissed as his new position pulled at his joint.

Daisypaw looked up at Sootpaw and sighed, getting back up on her paws. "Are you okay?" She glanced over her brother. "Let's... Let's go find dad," her voice was tired.

Hickoryshadow noticed his kittens from across their makeshift camp, pursing his lips painfully and letting bile rise in his throat. He looked away, still a bit shook from the second earthquake.

Scorchthicket shook the twigs and dirt from his fur once he'd stepped back, offering a reassuring purr to Ebonyrose. "I'm fine. The worst I got is probably just a minor scratch." He shrugged and glanced around. "Is everyone alright?"

Willowpaw's fur was still fluffed, and she carefully extracted her claws from the tree. "I'm okay," she mewed, shivering.

Kindleflame looked worriedly over Kitekit and Wisteriakit, then turned her attention to Riverswoop. "Are you alright?"

Basilpaw clung to the ground, trembling. It was louder, scarier than the last one he remembered. Blinking dust out of his eyes, the small apprentice looked around at the other cats. He wanted to see if everyone was okay, but he was too shaken to move from his tense, low position.

Larchmask coughed, having been knocked to the ground by the jolt. His bones ached, but he seemed unharmed. Struggling to his paws, he called out. "Is everyone okay?" He asked, fighting back a cough.

Coalpaw frowned at Willowpaw, sighing. "I'm okay," he managed, eyes still glued to the other apprentice. "H-Hey, um... I'm.. sorry for being uh, so unreasonable," he mumbled. "I'm, um, actually happy y-you made friends! I- haha, I kinda just stuck with... Whispermist."

Bramblepaw shifted, moving his shoulder out from underneath him with a grimace. "Woah. Do you think there's going to be another one?" While his face was stoic, his eyes glistened with fear as he glanced between Hawksky and Tulipsnow.

Tulipsnow shivered a little. "I hope not," she mewed, padding out of the makeshift den and towards Scorchthicket.

Scorchthicket was staring out at the destroyed territory with wide eyes, but he turned to look at Tulipsnow as she got closer. "Are Bramblepaw and Hawksky alright?"

Daisypaw followed Sootpaw, purring at the sight of her other brother. She looked out to the destroyed land and grimaced.

Coalpaw nodded in half-agreement, sighing lightly. "I... uhhh.. a-actually had a, uhm, reason for getting...." he paused. ".. mad," he glanced around their make-shift camp, mentally knocking himself in the head. Not a good time, you idiot! He sighed. "L-Lets go, um, help out the others. We'll probably need a.. big clean-up, hm?" His joke felt awkward and heavy, but he flashed a grin anyways.

Fallowpaw padded closer to the edge of the forest, navigating around divets and ravines. "Willowpaw, look at this!" she called, her voice awed.

Hawksky shifted. "Maybe," he mewed, "I hope not, but if there is we can prepare for it."

Coldfoot made his was to Tulipsnow. "Are the patients okay?" he mewed.

Scorchthicket's chest was tight with anxiety as he looked around, ears pinned back. "We'll have to figure it out," he muttered.
