Lilyshadow smiled at Thundersong, rolling her eyes. “Have fun at camp, with the apprentices.” She teased, smiling at him.

Willowstreak perked up when she heard her name called, glad she was able to go to the gathering.

Fogpaw perked up upon hearing his name called, purring and wrapping his tail around his paws. He puffed out his chest, closing his eyes.

Autumnsky dipped her head to Turtlestar, then rose to her paws and stretched out. Her stomach growled at her, and she made a mental note for her and Sunshadow to eat soon.

Turtlestar leaped down from the Fallentree and approached Willowstreak with a purr. "How are you doing today?" she mewed to her daughter.

Willowstreak paused, her eyes seeking out all the cats separating away from the main group to eat. “Quite well, I think. What about you? Getting sick of being Leader yet?” She joked at her mother.

“Well all kits are like that. Knowing my siblings, if they have kits you’d be taking care of them when their hunting.” She said, jokingly, knowing that wouldn’t happen.

Perchcloud brightened at the news she'd be going to the Gathering. Wonderful! Maybe I can catch up with some of my old friends. She shook herself off again, going to look for Snailnose.

Sharktooth padded over to Fogpaw. "Excited?" he purred.

Fogpaw perked up immediately and nodded, tail swaying rapidly behind him. "Yeah! I can't wait to meet the apprentices in the other clans!"

Autumnsky brushed her tail against Sunshadow's side and purred, "Let's get something to eat, Sunshadow."

Sunshadow nodded childishly, his eyes lighting up like a christmas tree. "I hope I get to see the other medicine-cat apprentices!" he whisper-yelled, following Autumnsky to the fresh kill pile.

Thundersong scoffed but nuzzled his mate lovingly nonetheless.

Brindlestorm didn’t move from her spot after the meeting, satisfied she was going to the gathering tonight. She flicked her tail a few times, hoping the time to leave would arrive soon.

Fogpaw stuck his tongue out at his mentor with a laugh. "I'll try but that is my only promise," he quipped, stretching out and shaking out his fur.

"I'm sure you will, Sunshadow," Autumnsky mewed and plucked up a carp for herself, settling down by the medicine den before beginning to eat. Her tail swayed slowly behind her.

Spiderleap perked at the sound of his name. He stood and looked around groggily, rubbing at his eyes. "Oh yeah. Gathering. Are we leaving?" he mumbled to himself.

Sunshadow grinned, and followed Autumnsky after taking a salmon. He plopped down beside his mentor and started digging into his food, hungry from sleeping an hour of the day away.

Spiderleap squinted his eyes in thought. "Uh, I think I shared a mouse with Sunshadow this morning, but it wasn't anything to sustain me. So I don't think so," his stomach growled with hunger, making him flush slightly. "I'll eat before we go."

Brindlestorm silently got up from her spot, her wish having been granted quickly. She padded over to the entrance and went outside, waiting patiently for her clanmates and leader.

Fogpaw jolted upwards, shivering with excitement and happily darting to the entrance of camp.

Autumnsky licked her muzzle clean, then rose to her paws and padded towards the camp entrance, stopping beside Brindlestorm while she waited for Sunshadow.

Perchcloud darted back to touch her nose to Snailnose's, purring softly before darting back.

Laurelkit bounded over to her mother and brother, squealing and launching herself onto Toadkit. She giggled as she hit the ground, batting at her brother.

Flowerbrook watched the kits from the sidelines, purring in her amusement. She rose to her paws and padded to the warrior's den, opting to have an early night in case she was called for the dawn patrol.

Lilythroat shifted on her paws, padding over to sit by Snailnose. "They're growing so fast," she commented, smiling lightly at the kits.

Brookshine watched the group talking, remembering when her kits were that young, and sighed as she took a small trout from the pile.

The brown tabby and white tom took a moment to stretch his back, his white paws reaching forward before standing up and glancing around the camp clearing. Weaselpool had to admit to himself he was the slightest bit of disappointed he couldn't attend the gathering. However, it was no time for complaining. He sat down, curling his long, fluffy-tipped tail around his paws, wandering if any of his clanmates were thinking of going out for a hunt.
