The Jungle | Sky Treetops

Though this area isn't actually a jungle it was named by fanciful kittypets moons ago, and the name has just stuck around. The Sky Treetops are within the branches of the thick trees, and are covered in vines and moss perfect for disguising a nest or two. Access is easily as nothing has been around to break lower branches, so even cats with low climbing skills can traverse relatively safely.

Cobaltgaze awoke in her nest situated in a small hollow high up inside a towering tree, out of sight for most cats down bellow. She stretched, took a deep breath, then stepped outside onto a branch to enjoy the morning sun and the fresh morning breeze. Feeling her belly rumbling, she nimbly lept down from branch to branch until she her paws had touched the ground below, and began to set out and catch some prey.

Gardi jolted awake, breathing hard as he stared around his nest, before sighing, standing up and walking outside. He looked around their 'camp', eyes worried as he walked from nest to nest, listening for any signs of distress and making sure everyone is ok.

Hilda, startled by the quake, now sat right outside the dens. She flattened her fur casually when she spotted Gardi and mewed a greeting towards him.
“Quite the shake, huh?”

"Perhaps." He said, his eyes turning towards the direction of the clans. "I do hope that all the cats were not injured in other places. The quake could've killed cats."

"Maybe. I hope they're alright." She replied halfheartedly, flicking her tail with mild irritation. "Is everyone here alright? Especially that new loner... What was her name? I forgot her name. She doesn't seem super comfortable around us..."

Zarla yawned lightly, opening her eyes and grumbling at the noise around her. "Less talk, more sleep.." her words were whispers, her hairless tail wrapping around herself again.

Poseidon was already awake, coughing loudly.

“Cobaltgaze.” Gardi spoke, his voice soft and calm. “I shall seek her out personally to check on her.” He said, his tail twitching.
