Snowfeather darted back to camp, holding four fish in her jaws. She quickly set them at the fresh-kill pile before joining Softstar. "Hey, Softstar, we should start sending more hunting patrols to the ponds. The fish recently have been fat, and I think we should go hunt there when it's still unfrozen."

Shadekit saw a rogue near the nursery, and blinked with awe. "Look out!" he mewled suddenly in mock terror. "There's a stranger in the nursery! I'll protect Lilyleaf's kits!" He rocketed around Tangle, batting at her tail with sheathed claws.

Ivylight returned to camp, bringing back a young squirrel and depositing it on the fresh-kill pile. She looked around and sighed. "Looks like most of the Clan is at the Gathering," she said to herself.
