Goldenheart walked over to her daughter. "Do you want to share something?" she asked. Berrypaw nodded and grabbed a vole off of the fresh kill pile. they ate it.

"Amberstar laid inside his den and signed. The got up and padded out.

Oceanbreeze nodded slowly. "I suppose so." he murmured. But as he walked through the entrance barrier, a hiss from Rosethorn whom was hiding in the bushes distracted him. "I'll get the kit. You stay here." she mewed. Oceanbreeze nodded, then padded back inside the camp.

oceanbreeze shook his head. "No. I am too loyal to this Clan to leave." he mewed, but inside his head, he was bewildered and confused about why Rosethorn, the loyal, but sometimes grouchy deputy was helping him.

Featherfall gave Mintkit the tansy leaf, and the little kit settled down to sleep a little more.

Sweetfeather sighed as she sorted the meager leaves and berries left in the herb store.

"I have a bad wtich in my tail", Pebbleblaze said his ears focused on Amberstar.

The leader had settled at the etrance of his den grooming his fur. "Dad!", Sandkit jumped at his back. "Sandkit", he purred.

Mintkit snored, while Featherfall groomed her fur gently.

Oceanbreeze's ears were also pricked towards his adoptive father, not missing anything.

"Please go over to your mother Swetheart", Amberstar let her roll down. "Okay", she went over to Mintkit and Featherfall.

"Why are you so eager to take Runnikit into this clan, taking her mother away. She will grow up, just like we did, missing one parent."

Oceanbreeze hissed. "I'm not leaving, if that's what you think." he mewed to Amberstar.

Featherfall licked Sandkit's pelt. "What have you been doing? You've got leaves and everything stuck in here!" she scoled gently, teasing a twig out from her kit's pelt
Mintkit wriggled away, hoping that Featherfall wouldnt do that to her. Then she looked over her muddy pelt. SHe probably will... the kit thought.

Sweetfeather looked for Grayfur, and spotted her at the side of the camp. "Medicine cats meeting tonight, remember?" she mewed.

Gorsekit wanted to jump and run to her sister but she stayed still. "How are we gonna get to her?" Gorsekit asked.

"We are talking later", Amberstar flicked his tail and leaned down to the kit: "I am sorry to put you to so much trouble, but my caln seems not to cherish that a kit belongs to his or her mother. I need to take you back."

"He is goona take her back? So what is this rubbish all about?", Skykit was confused.

"Don't really know, maybe her and your father wants to steal her without the permission of his leader and he originally wants her to be with you and your mother, but even his deputy is turning on him", Skykit tried to explain the situation.

Amberstar grabbed Runnigkit at her scuff. "I'll deal with you later", he said looking at his deputy.

Gorsekit tilted her head. "Mybe they keep changing their mind and they cant figure out where she should be," she mewed. "Thats why we should take her back and keep her in Fireclan!"

"That's what I think too, she is born fireclan, the most parts of her family are fireclan and they should not think otherwise. Attention Amberstars coming our way", he ducked into a bush.

Amberstar walked pass them holding his granddaugter.

Pebbleblaze walked into the camps clearing, he was nervous.

"Rosethorn, I could always rely on you, when it came to the business of my clan. As a deputy you have shown me grate work, up to now. But what on earth makes you think, that you can, wihtout even talking to me, threaten another clan, for a cause I do not support!", he growled, "You have walked to fireclan to get back the kit, I did not want here? I do not trust you anymore and so I shall take away the bruden of beeing a deputy from you. I want a cat I can rely on and it is really frustrating, that you have proofen so disloyal to me."

Oceanbreeze stifled a gasp of horror.

Featherfall looked at Amberstar, her eyes wide. Mintkit had fallen asleep again.

"Would suit you. Making a mistake which could have runn our clan into a fight with another clan and now silently joining the elders. What if Fireclan hadn't been so deep in our dept for giving them shelter, they would have clawed our eyes out for demanding such a supid thing in such bad manner", he growled, "Well never mind, now to you Oceanzbreez... this is the hard part."

Oceanbreeze tried to stand strong, but only succeeded in embarrasing himself when his stomach gave a loud rumble.

"I am very sorry to urge you that way, to take resposebilety for all of your kits and not just one, but I want you to leave Brightclan now. This might be the clan you where born in and this might be the clan where your mother and littermates are. But you have kits in fireclan and they need a good caring father like you. For you know, who hard it is without one and how hard it is to be seppared from family and friends, you should not last this burden onto your kits, just because you can't take it."

Oceanbreeze dipped his head. "I understand, Amberstar. You only want to do whats best for the Clan. And Runningkit," he mewed to the entrance barrier. "Everyone knows that you are there. Come out now."

THe kit cursed under her breath. "I just want to be a part of BrightClan. FireClan is way too stuffy and icky."

"I am not doing what is best for the clan right now. I am thinking what is best for a kit and again you have not listend to my words carefully. I want these kits raised by both of their parents, in wich clan is not what I care about. There are so many cats with mixed blood and they all could arrage with the territory they lived in, but what they could not, was to have bothe parents, becuase such bindings are forbidden and I wanted to have these three kits, which seemed to have decimated to two, having mother and father along their way."

Oceanbreeze hissed. "If you didnt care about what Clan they were raised in, then Runningkit wouldnt have had to have been carted back and forth! Runningkit, we're leaving." Oceanbreeze grabbed RUnningkit's scruff, and the two cats padded out of the entrance barrier.

Featherfall looked at her mate, her mouth agape. "Why would you do that?" she mewed "He was only looking after his kin!"

Featherfall tucked her tail around both of her kits. "You would send my son away just so that another Clan can be stronger?" she countered. "What if FireClan needs more territory? What if Dawnpool takes herself and her kits to another different Clan and they atke over BrightClan and FireClan? I'm just not sure about you any more." Featherfall finished, murmuring softly to Mintkit who was starting to wail.
