"I left my clan." Mudsplash meowed. "After they found out I had been meeting with Shadetail they made me step down from being a medicine cat. But I couldn't stay and be a warrior, I had to come here to be with my mate and be a medicine cat here."

Rubystripe smiled sympathetically. "I had a feeling that something like that would happen to one of you. I can't speak for anyone but myself but I certainly wouldn't mind you being here. You're a good cat Mudsplash and a very well-trained medicine cat."
Shadetail blinked at the she-cat's praise and looked at her mate.
