Rowanfall nodded, sighing slightly. "Robinshine will be in charge," he mewed, padding over to the exit.

Thornfang flattened his ears in annoyance. "Why didnt you come to me earlier?" he mewed, frustrated.

Thornfang sighed. "Feathermask, clean out her wounds and i'll get some marigold to make sure they dont get infected. Cherrykit," he turned to the little kit, "You wont be able to do much for the next day or so, okay?"

Robinshine blinked, seeing Rowanfall. "Oh good, we caught you before you left. The camp is pretty safe... there's some deep mud but we can have the queens, kits, and elders stay on one side while we clean up." she reported.

Cherrykit winced as her mother started cleaning out her wounds. There was a lot more blodd coming from them now. There wasn't anymore dirt on them, just blood.

Thornfang grabbed the marigold and chewed it up, layering the poultice on Cherrykit while his ears were pricked towards the conversation between Rowanfall and Robinshine.

Shimmerstorm nodded from behind Robinshine. "I almost fell in it, so its obviously not safe for kits," she added.
Rowanfall nodded at the two shecats, then turned to Robinshine. "Will you look after the Clan while I'm gone?" he mewed.

Shimmerstorm's eyes met Robinshine's. "I think you'll be the next deputy!" she whispered.

Angelpaw padded up to her parents. "Are we going home?" she mewed.
Shimmerstorm glanced at Robinshine. "I think so, little one." she mewed.

Longpaw looked for Hazelpaw as Ravenwing called for them.

She nodded. "Alright everyone!" she raised her voice to be heard. "I want the kits, queens, and elders to stay here, before you object, it's for your safety. I'll leave three warriors and two apprentices here with you while the rest of us head back to the camp to clean up."
