Amberfall retreated to here, hoping that Fallensoul hadn't followed her. The other she cat was probably stornger than her thought she was probably faster.

ic: "I don't care what Echostar wants," Amberfall said, but looked at Arriane. "Should i go anyway to see if the mousebrains actually believe her?" She said so Fallensoul wouldn't hear.
"I don't think its worth it." Arriane said. "But do what you want, I'll be here."
Amberfall nodded. "Before i go, hurt me."
Arriane nodded and without hesitation swiped her claws across Amberfall's chest and flanks.
Amberfall then ran down, darting towards camp.

Darkshadow snorted. "That's because it isn't freshkill, Graypaw." His nose twitched at the scent of the mouse around them, and had pinpointed it in a second, scurrying through the little snow and dead leaves left. He held his tail up for silence, and dropped into a hunting crouch.

That scent is still there. Spiritheart nodded, following the trail. She peeked behind some bushes. She gasped. A dead rabbit lay in a clearing. She walked into the clearing. "Blackfern...." An overwhelming stench of badger flooded over nose and she saw a flash of black and white out of the corner of her eye.

Blackfern saw the badger the second before it attacked. "Brindlemoon!" she yowled, leaping on to the creature's back and clawing at it's ears.

Blackfern unsheathed her claws again and leapt at the badger, clawing down its face and drawing blood from anywhere she could. The badger roared, blinded by the blood dripping into its face.
