EchoClan camp

EchoClan camp is situated in a large cave, where there are two entrances/exits. Light comes from the entrances, and a few of the caves are open to the sky, like their freshkill cave. A small stream supplying fresh water and moss is carved down the right hand side.

Nursery- the largest of the caves, situated at the very left from the main entrance.
Apprentices- beside the nursery. Entrance and most of the inside is covered in ivy, which is good for training.
Warriors- beside the apprentices den, and with the dirtplace exit on the right hand side of it.Second largest den.
Leaders- directly opposite the main entrance, with a little tunnel that connects it to the main cave. It is quite warm, and ivy vines hang down the entrance. Calls meetings from here. (The ClanCave)
Elders- right beside the leaders den. It is spacious, with room for lots of kits and things to listen to stories.
Medicine den- next to the elders den, the medicine den has the start of the little stream inside it. It apears from one wall, and flows out through a hole in the wall out to the rest of the cave. The den itself has lots of niches and holllows to put herbs and things.

Freshkill cave- between the stream and the entrance, the freshkill cave is open to the sky, but has niches in the walls where prey can be stored. As it snows in the winter, snow gets into the store and helps preserve the prey.

Rainspirit sniffed around the main entrance hole. "Does any cat know about this?" she mewed. "I dont want to lead everyone into a hole."

"I do!" meowed Adderstrike, "I used to explore the mountains when I was kitten."

rainspirit nodded. "Could you check down the hole?" she asked polietely.

Echostep padded behind Rainmspirit, followed by Lilymist, Flashkit Angelkit and avianpaw.

silverwing went ahead. she looked around.

anglewhite and smallfire looked around.

mintpaw sighed, fallowing at the end of the group.

"I found something!" Avianpaw called, poking her head into a cave. Mistfeather went over to see it. "This could be a good warriors den." she said.

Adderstrike sniffed in a larger cave. "This would make a good nursery!" he meowed, "There are old nests in there too!"

Rainspirit purred at their good luck. "Well, it seems we've found you a camp." she laughed.

ooc: Uh Shadow, I thought Mistfeather was going with StormClan?

ic: Patchstep explored the new camp warily. He saw a small supply of water trickling along one side, and he carefully lapped it up. "Mmm," he said, smacking his lips. "Cold and clear."

Seapaw excitedly ran through every den. "Wow!" she yelled, hearing her voice echo. "This place is great! I can't believe I never knew about it."

Wolfheart came into the den Adderstrike found and lay in a nest. It was just a dip in the floor with some old moss in it, but it was all she needed.

SIlverwing looked aorund. She padded into a cave. She felt with her paws along the walls. "Med. cat den!" she mewed, thinking it was perfect with the little stream in the cave too.

mIstyfur sniffed around the soon-to-be-camp.

Anglewhite and Smallfire padded aorund.

Mintpaw sat at the entrance. She sniffled, sad.

Leopardspots padded over to Mintpaw. "What is it?" she mewed.

Mintpaw looked at Leopardspots. She turned away.

ic: echostep looked around at the camp wjile Flashkit and angelkit bounced around in circles.

Mistyfur lapped at the stream, she flicked her ear.

Avianpaw jumped around exitedly.

SIlverwing looked aorund.

Echostep looked at Silverwing.

SIlverwing looked at Echostep.

Leopardspots nudged Mintpaw. "What is it? You can tell me."

Lilymist looked around the camp.

Mistpaw got up and padded away.

Leopardspots sighed.

Rainspirit stretched, feeling her muscles stretch reluctantly. "I think this'll be good." she mewed, sneezing a little as some dust got up her nose.

ANglewhite and Smallfire padded around camp.

OOC: First border patrol?
IC: "So, what exactly is supposed to keep us protected here?" Wolfheart meowed.

ooc: Wait.

ic: Silverwing looked aorund.

"Well?" she mewed, "We have a bunch of kits and elders here and you tell me there isn't anything protecting us?"

Rainspirit frowned. "I never said that. Generally, there is a warrior on guard duty most of the day, then at night the warriors take shifts. They also hunt and fight for the Clan, and protect the territory. You'll also need to learn about the warrior code, before our ancestors accept you as a real Clan."

"What is the warrior code?" Echostep mewed.

"The warrior code," Mewed Leopardspots, "Is the rules of the Clans. So they're things like loyalty to the Clan, protecting kits no matter where they're from, not crossing borders, things like that."

"Oh, I get it," Seapaw mewed. "So, it's like rules. But who says some cat can't break them?"

Diamondheart and Lyricsong watched

Echostep nodded. "I understand, but what is some cat does break them?"

Rainspirit sat down softly. "Depending on how big the code was broken, the punishment will generally be decided on by a leader." she mewed.

SIlverwing nodded.

"oh," Echostep mewed.

"Yes. For example, something small like eating prey while hunting might get you cleaning the elder's den, but something like starting a war with another Clan by killing someone.." she shook her head, "Most likely exile. Maybe not ever going to the gathering again if they were lucky."

"Oh," Seapaw meowed. "As long as we enforce the code. That makes sense!"

Rainspirit let out her breath. At least some of the cats saw sence. She stiflied a yawn, and looked at the other cats. "Leopardspots, would you mind doing the first guard and showing Echostep what to do?"

Echostep looked at Leopardspots expectantly.

"Sure." she mewed.

Rainspirit turned to the other cats. "Let's gather some moss and sleep out here, then tomorrow we'll explore some of the other caves." she mewed.

Flame and Acorn sat at the entrance to te caves, listening.

Leopardspots was padding to the mouth of the cave to stand guard.

Avianpaw and Lilymist gather moss to make nests.
Lilymist picked up Flashkit and Angelkit and set them down in one.

Echostep stayed awake.

Flame squealed as Leopardspots came into view. Acorn cowered, his ears flat.

Leopardspots jumped. She looked at them sternly. "What are you doing at our camp?" she meowed.

Acorn still cowered in front of her, but Flame stood up. "We want to join! We're sick of Upwalkers!" she mewed.

Echostep looked over at acorn and Flame.
