A young black and white she-cat stumbled through the entrance of the Camp. She shook once and froze when she realized there were other cats -much stronger and bigger than her- surrounding her. She let out a squeal and tried to back up, but tripped over a stone.

Avianpaw looked over at the squeal. "Are you okay?" she mewed, running over.

Rainstorm pricked her ears but said nothing.

The younger cat scrambled to her paws, unsheathed her claws, and instinctively leaped at Avianpaw, but terribly missed and landed on her side, scraping her skin. "Owowowowowow!" She instantly went limp from the fall.

The young cat quickly regained conciousness and struggled to get up, but over her weak legs she fell again. Humiliated, she felt her fur grow hot with embarrassment. When Juniperheart came over, she hissed, but her lack of muscled kept her from reaching out and lashing her paw.

She grunted before finally mewing. Her voice was surprisingly calm and smooth, but there was no doubt she was growling.

Smokekit opened his little eyes for the first time.

The young cat grunted, but obeyed and lapped up the herb.
"First of all, my mother abandoned me. That's perfectly normal." She struggled to stand. It was obvious this young cat was underfed. Her ribs was visible through the skin and it didn't look as if she were very strong.
"And what the heck is a Clan?"

Rainspirit frowned as she padded over. "a Clan is a group of cats, following the Warrior code. It looks like nobody round here realises that there are now Clans..." she sighed.
