Fireclaw walked back into camp, tail dragging on the ground. He looked around for Aspenpaw but the she cat wasn't around. Must have followed us out of camp secretly... He thought. She needs to start acting like a medicine cat apprentice, not a warrior apprentice. If she wanted to be a warrior she shouldn't have become a medicine cat apprentice. She did have a choice. She needs to be taught a lesson for disobeying orders. He thought grumpily.

Wildheart looked around. "Let's not jump to conclusions." he said evenly, remembering Silverfrost's words. "But maybe we should go check again Fireclaw... If something did happen then we need to find her."

Silverfrost listened to them deciding what to do about Wolfkit. I think you should stop looking for her......she'll come back if she wants to. maybe clan life isnt for her.

Wildheart shook his head. "That's true... And if she was captured, I wouldn't want to risk warriors to go after her when there might be Two-legs. I just feel as if we should continue looking you know? She is our clanmate after all."

ooc Wolfkit went out of camp and is now lost in Twolegplace so Wildheart and Fireclaw are wondering if they should send another patrol after her. Other than that... not much I don't think.

Wildheart jumped at the other deputy's voice and padded over. "Fireclaw... Calm down." he mewed gently. "Wolfkit's her friend. She's worried just like all of us." He turned to Aspenpaw. "It's best to tell the truth rather than lie. You should've listened to us though, you could've been hurt."

Wildheart nodded in agreement. "But even so... what if Wolfkit had been severely injured and Aspenpaw hadn't been looking for her? I agree that, again, she should've listen to us. But I also agree that she shouldn't be punished for looking for her clanmate."

Fireclaw shook his head. "Still she should have stayed here. We can always fetch for her or one of the medicine cats if we need them. But if there was danger she would not have been able to protect herself and then where would we be? One medicine cat short, that's where."

Wildheart frowned and curled his tail over his back before sighing, trying to keep his voice calm. "If Wolfkit had been hurt and Aspenpaw hadn't made it. Where would we be? One kit less! Either way we would've been down a cat. But the point is Aspenpaw did what she thought was right. She shouldn't be punished for that!" he hadn't realized that his voice was rising.

Waterpaw sighed before walking over. "She's probably tired of you and Fireclaw arguing over something so pointless! Just let it go, no one got hurt and she didn't find Wolfkit so we're back to square one!" she said bravely, glaring at the deputies.

Maplesong blinked at the apprentice's spirit. "Waterpaw has a point... Though, I don't believe Badgerfur has come back yet. He's probably still looking for Wolfkit right now." she meowed, glancing at the camp entrance.

"Aspenpaw knows her way around the territory and so does Badgerfur. theyre fine! as for Wolfkit, why would she leave unless she didnt want to stay in the clan? if she wants to not be a part pof th eclan, dont go chasing her back and making her unhappy. she'll come back when and if she wants to." She said.

Wildheart stared at the three she-cats before lowering his head in embarrassment, not saying a word.

"I feel as if something is wrong. Wolfkit seemed to like clan life very much. I... I think she's been captured by twolegs! Her scent got to the twolegplace but seemed to just disappear," Aspenpaw concluded in a worried tone. She was angry that a warrior would yell at her for being concerned about her clan mate but overwhelmed at the thought that she might never see her friend again.
