Cloudclan Camp

Cloudclan Camp
The camp is a high rocky place with many caves. There is a pile of smooth, heavy rocks that the leader calls the Clan from, called the Cloudrocks. Just behind the apprentice den there are patches of grass around the cave for training in the camp.
The dens in the camp are:
Nursery: A bush on a hill at the far side of camp and there is grass there so kits can play where it is softer.
Warriors: A large hole in the ground with large rocks around and in it.
Apprentice: A small cave next to the nursery. It has moss growing in it.
Medicine Cat: A large cave close to the Cloudrocks. It has many cracks to put herbs in and moss growing inside.
Leader: A small hole in the ground under the Cloudrocks. There is soft grass growing outside of the den.
Elders: A small cave in the ground that has soft grass growing outside of the den.

ic: Shiningfrost padded out of the nursery, smiling and purring in delight. Breezekit stumbled out into the clearing, and raced over to a moss ball. "catch!" she squeaked to Poppykit.

Minnowsplash yawned and turned over in sleep.

Antkit ran in circles bored out of his mind.

Pinetail woke up to the sound of kits. He purred happy this morning.

ooc: make Antkit an apprentice.

ooc: Ask Ocean. And is he going to be a medicine cat apprentice?

"Antkit! Want to hear a story?" Pinetail called sitting out side his den. "No." Antkits stoped and looked at him.

Jaystar walked out of his den, slightly yawning. It was time for Antkit to be an apprentice! He always loved doing these things.

OOC-So is Antkit to be a med cat apprentice?

ooc: yes he will be a medicine cat apprentice.

in: Pinetail looked at the other kits. He frowned and walked back into his den.

Antkit ran around some more.

Shiningfrost looked around for her other kit. "Poppykit?" she said loudly, wondering where the mischevous kit had gone.

Breezekit looked around. "Antkit!" she yowled, batting the moss ball over to him.

Pinetail'e joints where aching so he slowly looked for the medicine cat.

Antkit felt around for the moss ball and tried to toss it back but it fall short. Because he can't see he can't really play with the other kits. He went into the nursery and curled up in the far corner. He stayed there listening closely to everything happening outside. He blended into the dark light in the corner of the nursery.

Stormheart looked around the camp for Shiningfrost

Shiningfrost still looked for Poppykit. (Hint hint Hazel! You RP her!)

Breezekit sneaked away from her mother, and padded into the nursery. "Antkit?" she whispered.

Jaystar walked up and onto the Smoothrock. He yowled loudly "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, please gather beneath the Smoothrock for a very important apprentice ceremony!"

Minnowsplash heard Jaystar caling, and padded out of the medicine den, smoothing her slick fur down quickly, even though a small tuft stuck up on her head.

Shiningfrost found Poppykit. "There you are!" she said smiling, sweeping up her kit with her tail. She then looked around for Breezekit. "Oh yay. Wheres Breezekit gone now?" she muttered.

Breezekit perked her ears up. "That must be your apprentice ceremony Antkit!" she said.

ooc: DOVE! Will Antkit be an apprentice to Fernstorm or Minnowsplash?

ooc: Minnowsplash. And is in Green-leaf or not?

ic: Antkit slowly camp out of the corner and pushed his way out of the den. He sat right outside the den. He looked start at his leader though his blind eyes.

Foxear padded out of his den and looked at the fresh kill pile. There was only a little bit of fresh kill from yesterday. He padded into the clearing and sat down.

Pinetail slowly walked to Minnowspalsh before his leader made the kit an apprentice. His joints where aching. He slowly sat down.

"Hey Shiningfrost." Stormheart greeted her with a smile.

Poppykit wondered around in the medicine den.

"Today is truly a great day, for today, Antkit is to become a medicine cat apprentice!" announced Jaystar, and then jumped down so the medicine cat could do the rest of the ceremony, as was traditional.
Today was so exciting! He was so happy to see Antkit become an apprentice! He had remember when he had first been born and he had been heart broken because he had been blind. But now he would become and pursue the grand path of the medicine cat. He was positive Antkit would become a great medicine cat, one day.

OOC-The medicine cat has to continue the ceremony now, as how it is done in the books, unless we do it differently here?

Minnowsplash got up, and stood beside Antkit. "Cats of Cloudclan, you know i wont be around forever. I have chosen a cat which shows courage and a willingness to learn, even though he may be blind. The next Cloudclan medicine cat wil be Antpaw."

Shiningfrost purred, and leant her head on Stormheart's shoulder. "Poppykit! Come back!" she said to her otherkit, having caught Breeezekit coming out of the nursery with Antkit.

Jaystar cheered escatically "ANTPAW! ANTPAW! ANTPAW!"

Stormheart purred.

Poppykit made her way to the herb storage

Minnowsplash looked at the elder then quickly said. "I will travel to the Mooncave this half-moon with my apprentice, so he can be accepted by Spiritclan (just for now)."
She then padded over to the herb store, looking for herbs for the aching joints poultice. "Poppykit!" she exclaimed in disbelief.

Pinetail sat there listening to the kit that just got in trouble. He purred then slowly padded to a patch of sun light sat in it.

Antpaw quickly fallowed his mentor. "What is wrong?" he asked walking in and then noticed what it was when he stepped on the herbs and bumped into the kit. He looked at Poppykit though his blind eyes.

Jaystar hurried over to the medicine cat den. "What is wrong? Oh, I see. Poppykit!" he said, the words flying quickly out of his mouth. Kits aren't suppose to be in the medicine cat den without the medicine cats permission! There is dangerous stuff in there! Like...um well he didn't know what it was called, but it was dangerous!

Poppykit was sniffing some tiny black seeds, and then she snuck licking up a few.

Minnowsplash was at the kits side in an instant. "What did you eat?" she demanded.

Shiningfrost was looking around aimlessly for her two kits. Breezkit had decided to see what was going on in the medicine den and had snuck in after Jaystar.

Jaystar was worried. What if Poppykit ate something poisonous and is now going to die? "Not Poppykit!" muttered Jaystar as he moved out of the way so Breezekit could get in. He then walked over to Shiningfrost and said "Poppykit ate something from the medicine cat den, but don't worry Shiningfrost, Minnowsplash is attending to her as we speak. I am sure she will be fine!" he blurted out as he then quickly raced back to the medicine cat den and resumed his spot over there.

"Whatever these black things are." she mewed nervously

Minnowsplash sighed in relief. "You only ate a few right? They're just poppy seeds," sshe explained to the crowd of cats. "Poppykit, you really shouldnt have been in here in the first place. Now go with your mother and have a nice long sleep," she said, signalling for Shiningfrost to come over. The queen tutted, picked up her daughter, and carried her back to the nursery, lecturing the young shekit on the way. Breezekit followed, wondering why her sister was sleeping in the middle of the day time.

Antpaw was quite the whole time. He sniffed the seeds as the cats began to leave. He went out side the den and sat there, watching everything going on.

Pinetail sat purring and watching the den until Antpaw came out.

OOC-LOL "and have a nice long sleep" Meaning? DEATH! XD

Jaystar breathed a sigh of relief. They were just poppy seeds. He wondered what they do. Anyway, time to get some patrols ready! Antpaw and Minnowsplash would also be leaving to go to the Mooncave soon, as well.
"Okay everyone! We need a border patrol and a hunting patrol! Or maybe one patrol of both? Anyway, whoever wants to do hunting, sit here on my right! And whoever wants to do border, sit here on my left!" called Jaystar enthuastically. Since he was such a bad hunter and always scared away the prey, he decided that he would join the border patrol when the patrols were all ready and done.

Antpaw thought to him self I would join if he could see. He just sat there looking sad. He watched them though his blind eyes.

Pinetail went to his den and tried to sleep.

Poppykit was sound asleep.

Stormheart padded in the nursery with a squirrel in his jaws, and then dropped it when he saw Poppykit sleeping in the day. "What happened?" he asked his mate

Shiningfrost tutted. "Poppykit ate some poppy seeds and fell asleep. Minnowsplash said she should be okay, and to just let her sleep it off."

Breezekit rolled over, bored out of her mind. When can i become an apprentice? she thought.

Minnowsplash looked at Antpaw. "Okay Antpaw. What would you like to do first?"

"Do you think she'll be punished?" he asked curiously

"What did the poppy seeds do to Poppykit?" he asked looking at the nursery.

Minnowsplash purred. "Poppy seeds just make you sleep. Give only a maximum of two to a kit, otherwise they will sleep for a month!" she joked.

Shiningfrost shrugged. "I dont know. These kits are so naughty! But so cute...."

Antpaw went back inside the den to try and help clean up. He found these berries. Some are dark red and some blue. He tryed to gather then but he noticed to different smells from them so he tried to soft them out in two different piles but some were braking.

Poppykit sneezed and woke up

Stormheart purred

ic: Willoweagle took some prey from the fresh kill pile and settled down to eat it. Her mother came out of the elders den and settled down beside her.

"Hello, Poppykit. Fancy that, Poppykit eating poppy seeds!" Shiningfrost purred to her kits. The quen then thought quietly to herself These kits are almost ready to become apprentices. Maybe i'll go talk to Jaystar.....

Minnowsplash padded into the medicine den. "What are you doing Antpaw?" she asked curiously.

Breezekit jumped on her sister. "Poppykit! You're awake! Now i can play with you!" she said happily.

"Helping" he mewed not looking up. He was doing a pretty good job but some of the berries where braking. He then noticed that what he was sorting where all one kind of herb and puts pushed it over to the right pile. "What is this?" he asked sniffing the red berries. He noticed they where the ones that broke the most in his paws.

Pinetail walked into the medicine cat den still waiting for his herbs.

Poppykit sneezed again

Minnowsplash sighed. "Antpaw, the berries are juniper and wintergreen. I shouldn't have left you here by yourself. Just...go and sleep." the medicine cat sighed again, turning around and putting the broken berries in a neat pile on a dock leaf.

Shiningfrost frowned. "Poppykit, maybe you should sleep. I knwo you just had a big sleep, but please just try. I think you might have a cough." Breezekit rolled over, and kicked her bedding in sleep, her thinking it was a Fireclan warrior.

Poppykit nodded and laid back down.

"Are you hungry?" Stormheart asked his mate

ooc: It is already night?

ic: Antpaw just went to his nest and went to sleep.

Pinetail sat at the entrance of the den and mewed "Can I have my herbs now?" then he yawned and mewed "Nevermind I guess." and went to his den slowly.

ooc: Lol yeah. It was leading to becoming dark in one of the RP's so i thought it would be a good idea to make it night everywhere.

ic: Shiningfrost purred. "Yes, a bit." she said to Stormheart.

Minnowsplash face-pawed. She had forgotten Pinetail's herbs! "Stupid stupid cat!" she muttered to hereself.

Poppykit was restless.

"I'll go get you something." Stormheart offered

Antpaw went into a uneasy sleep.

Pinetail got into his nest slowly and went to sleep.

Shiningfrost purred. "Thanks, Stormheart." she yawned sleepily. "Poppykit? Why dont you go with your father and get some fresh kill. Maybe you'll be able to sleep better after that..."

Minnowsplash cursed under her reath. She was supposed to be a MEDICINE cat not a FORGETFULL cat!

Jaystar grumbled; no patrols had gone out today! Well, at least Stormheart and Willoweagle had done some hunting before, earlier in the morning. They would last by tommorrow. And tommorrow he would also need to make Poppykit and Breezekit apprentices! Another exciting day!
He padded over to Shiningfrost and purred "Well today was certainly an eventful day, wasn't it? At least Poppykit is okay. Now I wanted to talk to you about Breezekit's & Poppykit's upcoming apprentice ceremony. Which is tommorrow. I was wondering if you had any mentors in mind for them? I know who I want, but I want hear your, the mothers, opinion as well before I go ahead with them."

OOC-No, I do not have the mentors picked out yet xD Who wants it?

Poppykit sneezed and then nodded. She followed her father out of the nursery.

Stormheart left the nursery with Poppykit close behind him
