Leafspirit padded over. "What's the matter?" she mewed, licking her son's ear gently.
Featherwhisker didnt look up, just sniffed feebly.

Mudsplash shook his head. "I have to go, if I can't be a medicine cat here then I have to move on. I'm not useful as a warrior, the only thing I can be is a medicine cat." He looked at the ground, tears beading in his eyes. "Trust me, I don't want to go but I have to."

Shiningstar was in her den, and refused to hear anything other than her own breathing echoed in the cave.
Aurorapaw lay beside her mother, slightly confused, but being a morale support.

"I don't even know myself anymore," Mudsplash meowed, looking at her sincerely. "For the past couple of moons I have felt like I didn't belong in this clan anymore. Then I met Shadetail and I felt like I belonged when I was with her. At that time I figured out what my true purpose was and that was to be a part of Brightclan. It's where I belong now. Soulclan has shown me that."
