Windflight padded out of the warriors den at the first hint of disturbance. "What's going on?" he growled softly, picking up Shimmersong's scent. I'm not going to let anything happen to my kits! the tom thought.

Ivywing slept, cuddling Primrosekit, Pikekit, and Lightningkit closer to her belly with an instinctive sweep of her tail as she slept.

Sootstripe poked her head out and blinked at Windflight. "It's alright." she said, noticing the look on his face. "She's come to talk to me, don't worry."
Shimmersong looked at him and flinched, flattening her ears.

Windflight stopped growling, but kept his eyes narrowed. "Call me if you need anything," he offered, padding back into the warriors den.

The warrior sighed before telling her that she wanted to join Fireclan and that she'd do whatever it took, even if it meant leaving her brother.
