"Thanks a lot Coralpaw." Silverleaf flicked her tail over the apprentice's back.
Poppykit thought for a moment before jumping up. "I want to learn some hunting moves."
Aspenkit hurried over to stand next to his sister.

Poppykit nodded and crouched down, her tail kept waving back and forth and her hind paws were too spread out.
Aspenkit's looked better but he wasn't low enough.

Coralpaw too her paw and moved Poppykit's paws closer together. "Try not to let your tail move," she meowed as she used her tail to push down on Aspenkit's back to make him crouch lower.

Poppykit nodded and kept her tail still as they both fixed their crouches so they didn't fall. "How's this?" she asked.

Saffronkit looked up as she felt her mother move away. She looked around, and accidentally nudged Wolfkit awake. The tom grunted in surprise, and stood up, stretching his cramped legs.
"Where's Silverleaf?" Wolfkit mewed, stumbling slightly as he padded to the nursery entrance.
Saffronkit shrugged, and attempted to stand up, only to tip to one side. "Eek!" she squeaked, toppling on to the moss with a soft thwump.

Silverleaf padded back into the nursery, seeing the two of them. "Oh you're awake." she mewed gently. "Poppykit and Aspenkit are outside with Coralpaw if you'd like to join them." she helped Saffronkit up, glancing at her leg.

Saffronkit nodded. "Okay!" she purred, following Wolfkit outside with a weird limp.

Whisperspirit padded into the nursery just after the kits left. "Feeling any better?" he purred, dropping the mouse dangling from his jaws in front of Silverleaf.

"Thank you." she mewed, taking a bite. Once she swallowed it, she spoke up again. "I'm feeling great... though they're going to be a pawful for sure."

Wolfkit padded over to his siblings. "Hello," he mewed, looking up at Coralpaw.
Saffronkit followed.

Whisperspirit nuzzled her shoulder. "You should get some rest..." he mewed, standing up and going to walk out, then stopped and turned around. "Is Saffronkit okay?" he mewed quietly, not wanting the kits to hear.

Poppykit smiled. "Hey!" she mewed, staying in her crouch.

Whisperspirit frowned. "i'll go talk to Ivyleaf, you rest." he mewed, licking her ear comfrotingly then walking out of the den, passing the kits. "Coralpaw, make sure they dont hurt themselves, and get ready because we're going to train soon," he mewed.
Wolfkit barelled towards his father. "Can we come?" he mewed.
Whisperspirit's mouth twitched in a small smile. "Not yet little one, when you're apprentices i promise." he mewed, then kept walking.
Saffronkit snorted. "Toms."

Poppykit snickered while Aspenkit frowned. "Don't say you don't want to go!" he meowed.
Ivyleaf blinked, seeing Whisperspirit. "Ah hello, surprise to see you." she mewed sarcastically before purring. "Something wrong?"

Mistpaw came back into the camp tracking blood behind her paw steps. She had stepped on something sharp and it had cut her paw pad.

Saffronkit frowned. "There's more ways to serve your Clan than being a warrior." she mewed maturely.
Wolfkit rolled his eyes. "You're no fun." he mewed, leaping on to Aspenkit with a loud purr of laughter.

Whisperspirit purred slightly, then looked behind him at his kits. "Silverleaf and I are worried about Saffronkit," he began slowly.

Wolfkit purred as he was thrown back.

"I stepped on something sharp but I don't know what. I can't get it out>" Mistpaw said. She lifted her paw and held it out to Ivyleaf. the thing htat was in her paw was clear and sharp.

Wolfkit scrambled to his paws, dust staining his dark gray fur a pale brown. "Not if you cant catch me!" he purred, running away.

Whisperspirit watched the kits play, purring.

Mistpaw licked her paw that was still seeping with blood. All that was happening was that Mistpaw's tongue was getting covered with the salty blood from her paw.

Aspenkit smiled and ran after him, laughing.
Poppykit sat up, licking a paw and drawing it over her ear before glancing at Saffronkit, tilting her head.
