"Creekstar!" Fallowpaw called happily, earning a warning, but soft flick over the ear from her mother.
Creekstar purred, and continued. "It has come to my attention that Fallowpaw is without a mentor. Silverthorn," he glanced at the tom. "You will be Fallowpaw's new mentor. I entrust in you the rest of her training.
"Meet the newest additions to our Clan. Aria and her sister Saoirse have been invited to see what Clan life is like before they make their final decisions as to whether or not they join. Sandstreak, I have already enlisted your help to teach them the warrior code, but I would like to acknowledge you in front of the Clan." He dipped his head to the cat in thanks, then continued.
"Sagekit, Faithkit, Tigerkit, and Hailkit. You have all reached the age of 6 moons and are to become apprentices. Sagepaw, your mentor shall be Lakeshine. Hailpaw shall be mentored by Firestep. Autumnstorm, you will be mentor to Tigerpaw and lastly, Faithkit has shown an interest in becoming medicine cat, so shall become a medicine cat apprentice at the next half moon gathering with Pebbletail as her mentor." The leader stopped for breath, waiting for the cheers of the cats to quiet down.
"Rosepaw." The silver tom's eyes met with the apprentice's. "from this moment on, you shall be known as Roselight. May SoulClan light your path to becoming a great warrior." He leapt off the whateveritscalled and rested his muzzle on the new warrior's head.
After leaping back up, he waited for silence again. "It has been long past the moonhigh since Amberstar joined SoulClan. It is time for me to elect a new deputy."
