DuskClan Camp

Brackenwing purred and walked over to Birdfeather, butting her shoulder. "I know. I scented you." He licked her ear.

Saffronflame got to her paws and followed Petalpaw, sighing again.

Faltermist sensed that they might want to be alone to talk for a while, so she wandered off to meet some other Clanmates.

Birdfeather purred back and returned the lick. "I think I was too focused to smell you."

Brackenwing shrugged. "I'm not surprised. There isn't as much prey as I hoped there would be."

Birdfeather paused for a second, thinking about what he had said and how it would effect the clan. She gave her calico paw a lick. "Better than it was in leafbare..."

Brackenwing nodded. "Definitely," he purred, licking her cheek before walking off to find Redpaw and Patchpaw.

Icefang padded out of the Nursery and sighed. Her eyes seemed more clouded then usual, this not normal for her. She looked at the ground, her stomach growling. She perked her ears at Birdfeather and Brackenwing's conversation. Icefang sighs and padded towards the entrance, slowly and quietly.

Boulderpaw padded from the apprentices den to the kill-pile. Bored, he swept back to the den, with a rabbit hanging low from his jaws. After he had finished the rabbit, he fell asleep. He peacefully woke with short-haired ruffled fur and matted hairballs clinging from his mouth. Grasspaw had pulled a prank on him. "Hah!" the young she-cat mowed, laughing along with the other apprentices. Boulderpaw scoffed, shaking his head clear of the hairballs and leaned down to groom himself clean again. "Yeah, yeah." he scoffed, gently punching his sister in the shoulder. She smirked and bolted straight across the den and out into the clearing. Once Boulderpaw finished grooming his ruffled and matted fur clean, he followed her while chuckling under his breath. "Oh, I can pull a great prank, too, Grasspaw. I can do that too." Boulderpaw smirked, mumbling under  his breath. He set up his prank and then ran over to Grasspaw. "Hey, Grasspaw, wanna go look at the herbs in the medicine cat den?" Grasspaw immediately  nodded eagerly, bounding swiftly through the crack into the herb-scenting den. Boulderpaw grinned slyly, following close behind. He twirled around and "accidentely" bumped into Grasspaw. She flew into a pile of dry, dead herbs, yowling with fear. Boulderpaw started bursting into laughter, but he helped his sister up. She shook her fur clean and growled in a funny way at her sly brother. Grasspaw shook her head, secretly smirking, and bounced away. Boulderpaw heard the medicine cats talking and blabbing about, about to come in. Boulderpaw swiftly leaped out of the other entrance of the medicine cats den and said nothing, going back to rest in his den after a long day of playing pranks with his sister.

Saffronflame curled her tail around her paws and watched Petalpaw carefully. "So, what do you remember from the last time I quizzed you on herbs?" she asked, tilting her head slightly. 

Shinekit sighed as she lay down in a patch of sunlight with her chin on her paws, watching the skies as fluffy clouds drifted past on eddies of wind.

OOC: Willoooow. Rosepaw. XD

Rosepaw scoffed. "Everything~" She knew she was being a little over confident, but she couldn't help it. "Except for some things...maybe."

Ooc: OH RIGHT SORRY ILL CHANGE IT SOON XD

IC: Saffronflame chuckled. "What does borage do?"

OOC: FALTERMIST IS CONFUSED

OOC: FOR PLOTLINE!!!!

IC: "Who would like to go on a hunting patrol?" Blueshine called out.

Boulderpaw and Grasspaw perked up their ears from the apprentices den. They ran out and skidded to a halt in front of Blueshine. "Can we come?" Grasspaw pleaded. 

Mintapple came padding out of the warriors den when Blueshine announced this. He smiled and rushed over. "I'll come too. I need to get out of camp for a while." he smirked, then huddled over by the two young apprentices, Boulderpaw & Grasspaw.

OOC: Since your FrostClan cat is leading a border patrol, they could bump into each other and start a mini-battle (no deaths, maybe just some scratches)
IC: Blueshine nodded to them then looked around to see if anyone else wanted to come.

OOC: Yeah, that's fine, but I currently have no cats in the FrostClan patrol other than myself. Do you think you could bring up some of your other FrostClan cats so they could fill up the patrol? 
IC: Boulderpaw and Grasspaw bounded around camp with endless energy, happy as a bug. Mintapple just chuckled at the little apprentices, and sat down to curl his tail around his paws to wait patiently for other warriors to join Blueshine's patrol.

OOC: I have...1 FrostClan cat. I could speed-make another I've been planning.
IC: Blueshine looked satisfied at her little hunting patrol. "Alright! Last call for the hunting patrol!" she called.

OOC: Alright.  I guess that's okay.
IC: "Let's go!" Boulderpaw was eager to leave camp, and he tugged at Grasspaw's tail in impatience.

Blueshine shrugged her shoulders and headed towards the border with FrostClan. The river back was often running with voles there.

Icefang sat in the nuresury, batting at a mossball like a kit. "Im so bored... Wh- OUCH!!" Icefang had started to complain, but she felt a kick in her tummy. "Speak of the woods.." she mumbled, and weakly stood up. She stumbled over to the medicine cat den. "Poppydawn? Saffronflame? Are you there? I need help.. If your not in here i can wait.... I'll just be by the door here." She called, and laid by the entrance, waiting for attention.

Blueshine padded into camp, supporting Boulderpaw, who'd been injured on their patrol. "We need a medicine cat!" she yowled, setting him down in a soft area of the clearing.

"Well, your not the only one." Icefang snapped at Blueshine. "Im having kits. I need one too."

Boulderpaw groaned as Blueshine set him into the soft grass by the medicine cat den. Grasspaw knelt beside him, pushing her muzzle into his blood-stained fur. Mintapple approached Icefang, hackles rising. The hairs on the back of his neck stood up. He tried to talk calmly to the queen, but he couldn't help it. 
"There are three medicine cats, mouse-brain! Keep your yowls to yourself. We have an injured cat with us!" he growled, lashing his tail in anger.

OOC: (She isnt usually like this, shes just pissed and shes having a kitty-cat mood swing.)
"Dont call me a mouse brain!" Icefang hissed. "One of them is an apprentice. Im sure she has no training when it comes to queens having kits."

OOC: I know.
IC: Mintapple just ignored the stressed queen and yelled for a medicine cat. He couldn't let an apprentice this young die. He'd lose it completely.

OOC: I know you knew, but i was just saying this isnt like her

OOC: Okay.
IC: Mintapple tapped his paw and dragged his tail along the ground impatiently. Where were the medicine cats?

Blueshine paced in panic. "Okay, we're in camp, we can get supplies without the medicine cats." she muttered to herself.

Blossompaw yawned and padded out of the apprentices den. "Hey Faltermist!" she mewed and trotted over to her clan mate.

OOC: Blossomtail, could you please resize your profile picture? It's too big and is leaning into your post, which cannot be seen.
BIC: Morningpaw paced in the medicine cat den, hearing worried voices outside the den. She tumbled outside and saw Blueshine, Icefang, Boulderpaw, Grasspaw, and Mintapple huddled outside the medicine cats den.
"What happened?" Morningpaw yowled, looking at Boulderpaw with a horrid gaze.
"This happened!" Mintapple exclaimed, handing the injured apprentice over to Morningpaw.
Morningpaw peeked back inside the den to see if Saffronflame or any other more experienced medicine cat was back. She shivered, then took Boulderpaw.
"You better stay outside." she instructed, flicking her tail and taking Boulderpaw deep inside the den to rest for a little.

Blossompaw heard all the commotion and bounded over from the apprentices den. "What's happened?" She meows urgently, a glint of concern in her eyes

Moonpaw stretched calmly in the bright war sunlight after taking a nice nap. She padded over to the rest of the cats and mewed. "What's wrong?"

Blossompaw shot a glance at Moonpaw "Some cat's hurt, don't know who" she replied quietly. Shuffling her paws, she waited for any news.

Mintapple flipped his head towards the two young apprentices.
"An apprentice is hurt." he mewed. "Morningpaw is treating to him now."
Inside the medicine den, Morningpaw pressed cobwebs on Boulderpaw's wounds and gently pressed his leg bone back into place after she gave him poppy seeds to sleep so he wouldn't feel or know about the pain as much. Sighing, she quickly ran over to the herb stock and gathered more herbs to help the injured cat.

Blossompaw nods to Mintapple in understanding. "I hope he'll be okay" she murmurs to no one in particular.
Sitting down, she began to wash her paws.

Grasspaw, Boulderpaw's sister, tapped her paw in impatience outside the medicine den. She turned to Mintapple.
"Will he be okay?" she mewed with worry.
Mintapple hesitated. Those were some pretty bad wounds.
"Don't worry, Grasspaw. He'll be fine." his voice shook and he also sounded a bit insecure.

Blossompaw touched her nose reassuringly to Grasspaw's check, then pulled away. "He will be okay, don't worry," she whispered, "Just a few scratches" she lied

OOC: I don't remember what my cats were doing and I'm too lazy to look.

Russetstar observed his clan from his den. He purred softly, his tail flicking in contentment.

Rosepaw and Patchpaw were chatting by the apprentice den. Herbs were sat between Rosepaw's front paws. 

Adderkit played with his siblings, Shinekit and Amberkit.

ooc *poofs Poppyfall home because plot*

Poppyfall stumbled through the entrance, looking as if she were about to collapse. Her fur was matted and her eyes were dull. Glancing around the camp, she blinked at the amount of cats in the camp.

Russetstar's mouth dropped open as he watched the tattered black and silver she-cat enter. "P-P..." He got to his feet, slowly walking toward her, then began to run. "POPPYFALL!"

Poppyfall turned her gaze on the tom, blinking back her exhaustion. "Who..."  Realization hit her like a ton of bricks and her eyes widened in both wonder and happiness. "R- Russetface...?"

Russetstar touched his nose to hers, adoration clear in his amber eyes. "Where have you been?" He whispered. He didn't feel like correcting her for his name.

Poppyfall purred before immediately coughing. "I was captured by Two-legs... After Laurelkit was captured, I went looking for her but I couldn't find her or get away fast enough."

Russetstar frowned. "Ah... Laurelkit..." He was quiet for a moment, mourning her loss. "We can talk about that inside my den, if you'd like... and find a medicine cat for that nasty cough." He added with a concerned tone. He went to her shoulder, offering his shoulder for her to lean on and intertwined his tail with hers.

Poppyfall nodded and walked next to him, wincing.
Dapplepaw paused her grooming and glanced over before her eyes widened, she'd recognize that cat anywhere. "Poppyfall!" she cried, hurrying over to her sister with wide violet eyes.
Ivypaw immediately followed, silently watching the warrior.

Rosepaw hurried after the group of cats, her mouth already full of herbs. She'd seen Poppyfall enter and hadn't waited to head to the medicine den.

"Back up a bit." Russetstar's voice was full of authority when he addressed the apprentices, his head held high. "I know you are happy to see her, but let a medicine cat treat her first." He lead Poppyfall straight to his den, motioning for her to sit in his moss-cushioned nest.

Poppyfall smiled tiredly at the two before a sting pierced her heart.
"Wait a second... Where's Musicstar? Silverleaf and Whisperspirit too, I'd think they would want to know what was going on."
Dapplepaw and Ivypaw exchanged worried glances. "They're... they're...." Dapplepaw tried to form the words but couldn't.

Russetstar stepped away from her slightly. He was a little worried that his new position might change how she felt about him. "They passed away." He said flatly. No need to drag it on...they were gone.
