"Awwww I love those names!" Flowerkit exclaimed, ignoring her brother.
"Can I play with them after my nap?" she asked with hope.
Swiftstep answered and protectively curled his tail around the overexcited kitten. He licked her behind the ear and led her into the nursery for her daily nap.

Flowerkit nodded and plunged into the nursery. She snorted as she found a comfortable position and then slowly drifted off.

White socked limbs landed soft footfalls upon the ground, carrying the broad shouldered she~cat through the Sunstones on careful paws. Rounded ears swiveled at the sounds of the active creatures lurking, large, tropical plants brushing against her hide as she smelled the air, attuned to her surroundings. Flowerkit had a system to her patrols. She'd settled his den around the south western parts of the cherry blossom grove, where she'd travel north along the river border from there and up into the Swamp, checking the scent marks for anything new and come back south into the palm peninsula. She'd never find anything at the beach, and generally her patrols there were her way of relaxing and enjoying the ocean scenery. The warm sand that'd fall under paw accompanied by the warmth of the sun soothed her fatigued muscles after a day of long travels. That was the typical day for Flowerkit, albeit a few encounters with strangers that threw her off an easygoing course of fulfilling simple duties.
This was one of those days.
Flowerkit blinked, sighing. She had dreamed of a land far off, by the ocean seaside, and a beach for relaxing. Were the Clans moving away, and she had foreshadowed it?

"Mom! Mom look!" Southkit ran over to Aspentail and danced around her like a autumn leaf falling from a tree. Aspentail looked at southkit "practicing earl hunting I see, I bet that bettle isn't enjoying the early hunting." Southkit put down the bettle and watched it waddle away. Aspentail liked at the bettle and picked it up in her jaws very carefully and put it outside of the camp entrance. "Mom my paw hurts." "Let me look at it". Aspentail looked at south kits paw and pulled out a thorn. "Did you find that bettle in the thorn Bushes?" "Yes." "Okay, I'm not mad I just wanted to know so I could tell you to be more careful." Both of them started to play fight in front of the nursery

BIC: Flowerkit blinked and padded out of the nursery. She shot a glance at Northkit as she passed her, and then watched Speckles' kittens suckling. She smiled.
"They're so cute! Have you named them yet?" she exclaimed happily.

"Can she stay in WaterClan??" Flowerkit asked excitedly.
"I like her."
Swiftstep rolled his eyes enthusiastically and approached Speckles carefully. He licked one of the kits heads and purred. One of them had started crying at the darkness of the night so he tried his best to comfort it.

"You're not a bother to me!" she mowed.
Swiftstep licked one of the kittens and then set the mewling creature in Speckles' lap again.

Swiftstep jumped at her sudden coughing fit, so he patted her back gently with his tailtip and flickered his ears. He licked another kitten clean, not answering her first question.

The kittens began to settle down and curl up to sleep. Speckles' eyes drooped. "Can me and the kittens sleep somewhere?"

Swiftstep, without waiting for an answer from Turtlesplash, led Speckles into the nursery.
"This is where our nursing queens and kittens stay. Please, rest." he instructed gently.

Speckles dipped her head kindly and purred, but it ended in more coughing. One by one, she gently carried the kittens into the nursery, and once they were all back napping at her belly, it wasn't long before Speckles herself drifted into a gentle sleep.

Speckles stood up. She was back at her home again! Though it was eerie and silent and foggy, she recognized her Two-leg nest immediately. Speckles leaped off of her fence. "Fox?" she mewed. He may be gone, but this was a dream. Suddenly, she saw a figure in the distance. "Speckles?" it echoed. Speckles ran towards the voice excitedly and saw, not Fox, but Swiftstep? Suddenly a surge of memory rushed into her brain. She remembered the Tom; the conversations, the play-fighting, and the fun. "Bob?" she mewed.

Swiftstep smiled at the kits and purred at the gentle snoring of Speckles. He was worried about that cough of hers so left the nursery quietly and poked his head into the medicine den.
"Anybody here?" he called, carefully stepping inside.

OOC: The disease starts as extreme drowsiness, spreads through bodily fluid, and kills within 2 weeks if not treated. She and her kits would be dead by then. Please actually read what it is.
IC: Turtlesplash looked suspiciously at Speckles for a moment. Something about the rogue was off-putting.

Littlefern's ears twitched at the sound of coughing. She wasn't too far away from the nursery. She made her way toward the entrance, poking her head in. As soon as she laid eyes on Speckles, her medical training began to kick in as she examined the she-cat from a respectful distance. "What's wrong?"

The tip of Littlefern's tail twitched. She looked up at the taller warrior. "And the coughing?" Usually, she wouldn't be so concerned, but something was nagging at her inside to look closer at the cat. What was wrong?

Speckles came out of the nursery, her nose plugged and eyes drooping. "Hi." Sniffled the kittypet. "I didn't want to give the kittens my cold... Can I sleep somewhere else? Where I can still-" she coughed a bit. "See them?"

Wingkit's eyes widened. She didn't want to be sleeping with that rogue's kits. She stumbled back into the nursery, laying her tail over her nose and lying down. However she pricked her ears, still listening.

Northkit puffed out her chest as she stood on top of a big rock near the nursery, and jumped up in pride. She had climbed the rock all by herself and she was happy about it. Now all that was left is to figure out how to get down.

Swiftstep followed Littlefern out of the den, padding into the nursery. He prodded Speckles awake with a paw.
"Are you alright?" he whispered, watching the kits carefully tackle each other.

Seashell padded out of the warriors den with a stretch, but had quickly rushed over and angled her ears to closely listen to the conversation.
A sick rogue in our camp? I think not! she thought, frowning and hurrying to the prey heap to calm herself down with a trout or bass or salmon.

Aspentail went over to Northkit, picked her up off the rock and went to the fresh kill pile, she picked up a bass, nodded at seashell and went over to Northkit ans took a bite then pushed the bass torwards Northkit and watched her eat the fish in tiny nibbles

Firekit wondred around camp, his stomach grumbling. He decided to eat something, so he padded over to the fresh-kill pile and choosed a small vole. I wonder when Sandpelt will return from his patrol. Firekit thought as the image of his sandy-colored father came in his mind.

Ebonykit looked around camp, "Maybe we can go hunt a mouse. Think about it, we'll become apprentices before we know it!" Ebonykit whispered to her siblings as her whiskers twitched.

"Umm, don't you think it could be dangerous? " Amberkit pointed out, but still wanted to go anyways to protect hit sister.

Spottedkit thought for a moment. "Yes! It'll be great! We'll go help our clan." Spottedkit mewed with excitement.
