"Since Ashpaw and Irispaw became apprentices." Tigerpaw meowed.

"Well..." she meowed. "I think I'll start there." She walked a little farther away. "Let's start with a back kick. You need to judge the distance between you and your opponent, then kick out with your back legs. Take all your weight on your front paws. Like this," she demonstrated.

Tigerpaw nodded, and tried to perform the back kick move. He managed to kick his feet back, but it was more sluggish than he'd like.

Tigerpaw nodded at Silverstripe, and tried the back kick again, this time, doing much better.

Tigerpaw purred for a few secounds, then wen't back to training. As he practiced, he kept getting somewhat better, although he did misjudge his kick more than once.

"Good!" Silverstripe purred. "Let's get back to camp. You've done well," She turned to go back as a tremor shook the ground. "Let's go!" she hissed, bounding back to camp.

Tigerpaw followed Silverstripe back to camp, keeping up well, although one could tell it took him quite a bit of effort.

Stormpaw froze when his mentor asked him. He was unsure and tried to think for a moment, but his mind was blank. "I am not sure..." he admitted.

Stormpaw replied with a small nod and sat down. He understood that rule. "So kind of like make your enemy know that you win and let them flee.." he nodded. "Okay," he meowed.

"The first move I learned as an apprentice was leap and hold. You leap onto your enemy's back and grip on him. Then you harm him in any way you can. But watch out! You need to make sure you jump down before he rolls over on you and pins you down." Drizzleflower said.

Stormpaw listened to his mentor and makes a note in his mind. So jump on the enemies back and hold on, but try to watch out when they roll over, he thought. "Got it," he said.

Stormpaw kept his claws sheathed and looked around for a few seconds. He saw a good spot to jump on and ran to Drizzleflower. Once he was in the position, he jumped onto the she-cat's back.

Drizzleflower checked to see if her apprentice would fall off. Then she started to roll over.

He knew that sign of rolling over and quickly jumped off so that he wouldn't get pinned down.

"How about you swap places now? Silverpaw you hold and Redpaw will leap."
