Sunkit skidded to a stop and shook the snow off. "Let's go see if Larkkit found what the thing was!" He meowed, already racing over to her.

Sootkit's ears layed back with snow freezing him up. He waddled over like a penguin on four paws.

Dawnkit giggled at Sootkit, she followed close behind to join them.
-
Darkwillow laughed at Sootkit in a friendly way as she watched them, waiting for the patrol to start.

Nightpelt, a little jumpy after his nightmares and not much sleep, almost jumped in fear when Redrose addressed him. "Er- I- no, I don't think so." He meowed, hot with embarrassment.

Larkkit dug her claws in as much as she could, but the ice block wouldn't budge. Her claws hurt. Her head ached. Her body wobbled.
"Ugh!" she growled.
"I'm telling Redrose to just give us the key already! I give up!"
She stomped off into the warriors den with a frown. When she approached Redrose...
"Where is the key? I can't open it!" she cried.

Soraflight shuddered at a cold gust of wind. "You guys should hurry out before it starts snowing again!" she called to the patrol.

Nightpelt glanced at Larkkit, yelling for Redrose.

Darkwillow nodded at Soraflight's mention. "Should we just.. go?" She meowed, her tail twitching impatiently.

Sunkit padded over to Larkkit. "Lemme' try." He mewled, flicking his tail with anticipation.

Sootkit watched the kits as a icy wind almost blew him off his small feet.

Dawnkit bounced over, catching up with the two, yawning with sleepiness.

Redrose padded over from her private cleaning spot in the deepest part of the warriors den. She chuckled under her breath.
"Oh, Larkkit! You have to search all the camp for the key! Unless you found it in your claws, it's not that!" she meowed, pausing as she made it up along the way.
Then, she turned to Soraflight as the cold gust of wind almost knocked her off her paws. She glanced at the daydreaming Icewing and shrugged.
"She's off in her own little world.. I guess we should just go without her?"

Sunkit's tongue stuck out on the side from panting and running around too much. "Maybe it's somewhere near the leader's den! You know, the leader must hold the key!!" He squealed as he mentioned the idea.

Both Dawnkit and Sootkit nodded there heads slowly, still thinking about Sunkit's idea.

Darkwillow nodded, "Yes, we might as well go, like Soraflight said." Darkwillow meowed, already padding out the entrance.

Nightpelt flicked his ear and followed, looking over his shoulder, waiting for the rest.

Redrose twtiched her nose. Had she gone too far? Now they were going to disturb Whitestar. She hurried after them with a frown.
"Erm, no, no! I'll give you a hint. It's not on this side of the camp. It's near the nursery, apprentices den, elders den, and dirtplace." she stuttered, then rushed to catch up with her patrol.
Larkkit nodded and pushed the ice block towards the dirtplace. She hopped around and avoided the dirtberries as she sniffed the air to try and find the key.

"Dirtplace? It could be buried!" Dawnkit pointed out.

Sootkit nodded quickly, bouncing with excitement.

Sunkit frowned, "I still think my idea was a good one, but whatever." He mewled, joining the rest of the kits.

Now it was time to get down and dirty. Larkkit dug frantically around the dirtberries and sniffed into her holes, searching for a metal scent that triggered the key was there.

Larkkit sighed. She had searched almost everywhere, and her fellow kits looked exhausted from searching.
"Let's try the nursery... the nursery next!" she panted, still trying to sound enthusiastic as she eagerly padded away from the smelly dirtplace.

ic: Thorntail woke up and padded out of her den, jumping backwards as Larkkit ran past her. She snatched a mouse from the prey pile, deciding she would go hunting afterwards.

Sunkit, Sootkit and Dawnkit scurried after Larkkit into the nursery. It was rather clean, but that wouldn't be for long. Sunkit began digging in a corner with his brother's help, while Dawnkit peered under nests.

OOC: Ahahaha, I laughed at "Why are the kits tearing up the camp?" Weeeell , Sunkit, Sootkit, Dawnkit and Larkkit found a ice block and thought it was treasure, so they showed it to Redrose who made up a story about a key that would open it and was hidden in camp and the block was some sort of "ancient cat treasure".

Brindlestripe stood up and watched the kits. She padded to Redrose and Thorntail. "It's probably just one of their kit games, you know. Kits need to play, even if it destroys the camp and makes the warriors do all the work to clean up," she purred, smiling.

Larkkit carefully lifted up her mothers old nest and blinked sleepily, searching for the key. She growled and gently set it back down. She realized she shouldn't be that reckless and leave the work of the warriors and apprentices to clean it all up... again.

Sootkit shook his head, "Nope. Nothing!" He called over with a flick of his tail.

Dawnkit looked in the dark corner of the deeper part of the nursery, noticing a large mound of old moss stacked there. She searched through it and gasped, noticing a sparkling item. Pulling it out with her teeth, she pranced over to the others. "Keysh, Keyf!" She mewled, trying to say key with the item in her jaws.

Larkkit sighed. She ruffled up her fur and padded out, not even telling the other kits she was leaving.
"Onward ho!" she yowled to no one in particular, entering the apprentices den.
Quickpaw woke from the ruckus. He chuckled at the kit - who he hadn't really gotten to know very well yet -, and made room for her to explore.

Dawnpaw was in the apprentices den as she noticed Larkkit arrive, "Hey Larkkit!" She mewed to her former nursery friend. She nodded to Sunkit and bumped shoulders with Sootkit in a friendly manner.

Sunkit smiled, "Your a apprentice now!" He mewed, bouncing up and down.

Sootkit nodded, smiling, "Are you going to see the territory yet?" He asked with curiousness.

Quickpaw heard this and perked his ears from his fluffy ball in the corner of the apprentices den. He was pretending to sleep as he listened in.

Brindlestripe padded in with a scrawny squirrel in her jaws. She placed it on the prey pile and turned to watch the kits and the new apprentice, Dawnpaw.

Brindlestripe smiled and huffed with laughter. She watched the kits and apprentice talking quietly, and she settled down in a drier spot.

Larkkit jumped with joy.
"Huzzah!" she howled, but winced and hunched her shoulders as some sleeping apprentices around her blinked sleepily and scolded her.
Hawkstep skidded into the camp behind Antcloud. He realized he must have scared her with the scatter of his long claws pitter-pattering against the ground as he halted, but he laughed under his breath as he began to imagine her falling and widening her eyes in fear.

Hawkstep padded over to the prey heap, taking each piece of prey and helpfully licking some of the soggy rain off of it. He realized some cats might think this is gross, but it's better than stuffing their mouths with soggy rain water and feathers.

Hawkstep licked his chest in embarrassment as Brindlestripe's hot gaze rested on him. He dropped the vole he was cleaning and hurried towards her.
"Don't tell anyone about this, okay?" he meowed, his voice cracking.

Hawkstep nodded and took back to his volunteering job. He finished licking the vole clean and tossed it into a new pile a few mouse-lengths away from the original one, moving onto a soggy starling and rubbing his paw (don't worry, it's clean haha) against it, then began to lick it clean.

Larkkit sighed. She had probably left a small rip in almost every nest. But, her eyes lit up when she saw a possibility.
"Whitestar's not here now! Neither is Redrose..." she snickered, a sly smirk on her face.
"Let's check the leaders den!" she exclaimed, recklessly bounding over the crackling leaves and leaping through the lichen that protected the leaders den, immediately searching under Whitestar's nest.

Brindlestripe padded out of the den. She saw the kits sneak into the leader's den. What are they doing? she thought, twitching her tail. She bounded into the den, and gasped at the mess. "What are you doing, ruining Whitestar's nest? Look at the mess? You'd better clean this up, right now!" Brindlestripe gave Larkkit a cuff on the ear, who probably was the leader of the kit group.

Sunkit stuck his tounge out at Brindlestripe and flicked his tail, standing beside Larkkit. "You and Redrose are just trying to not let us have the key! We know it's in here because Redrose keeps avoiding to tell us it's in the leaders den!" He mewed, his chest puffed out, standing up for Larkkit.

Sootkit sat next to his littermate, looking at his paws and shuffling them with guiltiness.

Dawnpaw bounded out the apprentices den and watched from outside the leaders den on what was going on.

"You still should ask before doing this. I am sure that Whitestar would let you, maybe he would've helped you! I am disappointed in you," Brindlestripe scolded. She picked up Sunkit and Pulled Larkkit out of the den to the nursery, a crown on her face.

Fallenrain padded out of her den and peered into the leaders den.
Ugh! Brindlestripe is just like Amberfire! she thought angrily, stepping in and cradling Larkkit.
"Would you let them have fun for once?" she meowed to the much older warrior, feeling embarrassed and worried that she might scold her like she did to the kits.

Sootkit, hidden inside a dark corner in the den wasn't noticed by the bossy Brindlestripe. He waved his tail for Sunkit to hide with him. "How about Larkkit?" He whispered worriedly.

Dawnpaw stood by Fallenrain in disgust, "There just kits!" She hissed, completely bothered by the warrior for messing with her friends and half brothers.

Brindlestripe paused, Larkkit still in her mouth. "Messing up Whitestar's den isn't good. The apprentices work hard to keep it neat, and they soiled the bedding!" She gently placed Larkkit down in a nest in the nursery. "Stay here. I'm not trying to be bossy. You can search in my nest if you want," she mewed gently. Brindlestripe bounded back and brought Sunkit down, and spotted Sootkit. She smiled gently at him and lifted him, and put him in the nursery.

She's actually there aunt, but cinderpelt was there real mother, but she died sooo and they don't know.
