Dewpaw for once did not scuttle away from her sister.
"Yes, I'm fine," she muttered.
She let out a snort of internal disgust as she realized what she was doing. She shoved the nest gently back to Sunkit, ripping off a tiny piece and rushing into the apprentices den, placing it underneath her soft mossy nest and immediately running outside again. She looked at the camp entrance and narrowed her eyebrows, seeing a flash of red fur in the distance.

"I think my leg is feeling better," Hawkstep sat on the other side of a mossy rock, facing Brindlestripe.
The faint glow of the perfectly shaped snowflakes falling outside of the medicine den reflected against a pool of water next to him.
"Look at us." he bumped shoulders with her, peering into the depth of the pool.

Brindlestripe peered in. She stayed at a distance from the water, but was amazed at the sight. The smooth water showed a clear reflection of her, a brown tabby, and Hawkstep, a ginger and white tom. She liked it. Brindlestripe smiled and stepped closer to the tom.

Dawnpaw hurried after her, clinging to her sisters side like a tick does with a elder. "No, your not fine." She protested, stepping in front of her sister.

Nightpelt spotted Dewpaw in the clearing with Dawnpaw. He narrowed his eyes, searching her face for any signs of emotion, but it was rock-solid.

Darkwillow nodded, her green eyes looking across the sky. "Yes, and of course the fresh scent along with it. " She responded, still staring up at the colourful, painted-like sky.

Sunkit smiled and hopped into his nest with joy. He suddenly felt a skip in his heart, "But... it might not be ours for long.." He whispered to himself, remembering Darkcloud's leg and how she might move to the elder's den.

Hawkstep suddenly felt a strong gust of wind blow into the medicine den and made him trip over his injured paws into the pond. He sent it splashing over Brindlestripe but was too in awe of the ripples to notice.

Darkwillow smiled, "Leaf-bare is beautiful, but harsh, kind of like.. water." She meowed, hesitating at the water part. She shuddered at the thought of the surging waters that could create a flood, but at the same time be peaceful and calm.

Dawnpaw sighed, "Dewpaw, why are you acting so strange?" She blurted out all of a sudden, in front of her sister.

Nightpelt flciked his tail and noticed sunset was close by, soon they could finally sleep. He yawned and stretched his legs, spotting his apprentice alone he padded over. "So, what will you like to learn tomorrow first? Hunting or battling? Or maybe a border patrol." He meowed.

Darkwillow nodded, "I guess I have something for water. haha. " She meowed with a chuckle. "My favourite thing about leaf-bare is the icicles that dangle from tree's and shine in the early morning sun. It's quit beautiful. " She added in, turning her gaze back to the chatting sparrows.

Sootkit noticed his mother wake up. "Mom! H-how is your leg?" He asked, blinking as he rose up and stared at her wounded leg.

Sunkit decided to sleep and cuddled up in the nest with a yawn, it felt unusual without his brother or sisters there.

Nightpelt nodded, "Alright, I'll teach you the hunting crouch tomorrow, at dawn." He meowed with a friendly smile.

"Yes, yes... that was strange." he mewed uncertainly as he heard the howling winds picking up outside.

Dewpaw narrowed her eyebrows, trying to hold back an argument.

Soraflight lay in her nest, curled into a tight ball of bristling fur.

Antcloud saw two cats talking in the middle of camp and decided to sit near them.

Dawnpaw narrowed her eyes, "Fine! If you don't want to tell me, then don't!" She shouted back. Her orange tabby fur bristled as she turned around and stomped off to the apprentice's den. Why is she acting so strange? We used to be always telling everything to eachother when we were kits. She thought, twitching her whiskers.

Darkwillow nodded,"Yes that's nice as well." She meowed, the corner of her eye catching a movement close by. She turned her head and saw Antcloud sitting alone nearby.

"Hello, Antcloud. Would you like to join us in a boring conversation?" She asked, not knowing what to call what Umbrlight and herself were talking about. She started motioning her tail for the she-cat to sit beside them.

Dawnpaw hissed, "No! Nothing is wrong!" She snapped, but then calmed herself down, laying her fur flat. "Sorry, Windpaw. " She added in. Now your acting like Dewpaw! She scolded herself.
