"Its big, and looks tasty too." Shadowpaw meowed, still in awe. "You can hunt again, since that rabbit will take me awhile to carry." She purred, sitting and cleaning her paws.

Thicketsong nodded, but looked up at the sky, "It's already noon and I'm hungry. We should get back to camp and hunt on the way there." He meowed, unburying his catch and holding it in his jaws.

Shadowpaw nodded and picked up her rabbit, holding it from its back, so its legs would not drag as bad. It was almost her size, but carrying it made her think she would get stronger.

Thicketsong was ahead of Shadowpaw as they padded towards camp. "Need some help?" He called over, glancing over his shoulder. "We can trade prey."

Shadowpaw was now dragging her rabbit, the weight of it becoming too much. She didnt hear her mentor's question as she suddenly tripped over the rabbit, losing her grip on it, and then landed on her face with her legs in the air. She growled and spat angrily, as she pulled herself up and fluffed her fur in embarrassment.

Thicketsong tried to hold back his smile, his face twisted up. "Here, give me that, you carry this raven." He meowed, chuckling under his breath as he grabbed the rabbit in his jaws.

She growled at his reaction to her fall, and gave him the rabbit. She grabbed his raven and continued following him, still embarrassed.

Thicketsong flicked his tail in amusement, "Hey, take it easy. This rabbit is pretty heavy." He called to his apprentice, his voice muffled in between the clumps of rabbit fur.

She bounded ahead of him and then began walking again, the raven not very heavy at all. She was glad for him helping her, but she wished she was strong enough to carry her rabbit on her own.

She leaped into the air and pounced on a small rabbit, she dug it up as well. She sprinted away and stumbled over. ``Ugh, I always slip here!`` She padded along, and a few minutes later she had caught 6 things, 3 rabbits and 2 ravens.

Lynxcloud padded through the tall grass, glancing back to check on her hunting patrol. She opened her jaws to sniff the air, and was relieved that is was fresh with rabbit and no hawk.

Lightpaw raced across the landscape alongside Sleekfire, spotting the patrol and tilting his head. "Should we join them?" He mewed to the warrior.

Rowanpool seemed to drag his paws as he walked, ears flattened to his head.

"If you want to," Sleekfire mewed. "I was hoping to go near the Beach, actually. Might be more prey there, scared over from here." His ears pricked a little.

Ivorystar closed her eyes a little as the breeze rippled through her fur, carrying the scents of the forest down from the mountains in FireClan and FrostClan's territories, but with just enough tinge of unfamiliar cats that it wasn't relaxing in the slightest.

Lynxcloud looked around, feeling the wind in her fur. "We should scour the area and see if we can find any prey. Don't go too far off, and stay close to one another. The last thing we need is for someone to get carried off by a hawk." she meowed, licking her lips casually.

Lynxcloud padded farther east, making sure to keep the rest of the patrol in her peripheral vision. She scented a rabbit and whipped around, seeing the the small white creature sitting in the weeds. She began a chase, sprinting as fast as her legs could take her, and leaped towards the rabbit, successfully swiping it with her claw and finishing it off with a bite to the neck. She picked it up in her jaws and trotted back to the group. "Let's try and find as much as we can," she meowed, setting down the prey she had just caught and tossing some dirt on top of it. "Leave everything here and we'll get it before we go back."

Jasperheart watched a bird land on the branch of a berry bush and crept towards it. The bird hopped branch to branch, picking berries off them as it pleased. As it took flight, Jasperheart intercepted it, placing it in her mouth as she landed.

Ivorystar watched her clanmates for a few moments before her own ears pricked in interest. Tiny scuffling alerted her to a nest of baby rabbits, and as she pounced on the mother, the rest of them and a few older ones scattered. "Rabbits!" she called to the rest of the patrol, quickly chasing after another older rabbit.

Lynxcloud pricked her ears at Ivorystar's shout, and began sprinting towards the sound. Soon enough she saw three white tails bobbing through the grass, and leaped at one with her claws extended. She managed to swipe one up and kill it as the rest scrambled into a more grassy area.

Azureflame looked up from sniffing at the ground, eyes brightening. He darted after a rabbit, racing past Lynxcloud and plunging into the deeply grassed area.

Jasperheart dropped her bird as a tiny rabbit raced past her into the push. She charged in, ignoring the twigs poking at her as she tried to reach the frightened rabbit.

Ivorystar hared after the rabbit, seemingly flying through the occasional tall grasses and managing to cut the rabbit off, a heavy blow to the animal's spine ending its life before she picked it up and padded at a more leisurely pace back to the patrol, panting heavily.

Jasperheart backed out of the bush, twigs sticking out of her pelt. She had a bunch of fur in her mouth but no rabbit. She spit out the wad or fur and picked up her bird, moving back toward Ivorystar.

Ivorystar's ear flicked. "I think so. Something doesn't feel right," she mewed, the wind calming for a moment so she could hear the waves. As the gentle sound of the water hitting the sand calmed her, she turned to Jasperheart. "Do you want to take a patrol out to do the borders this evening?"
