Echopaw shuffled her paws, and glanced over to her mentor nervously. "Clovermask, what do I do?" She questioned, her icy blue eyes wide with excitement.

Thrushpaw padded over to Breezepaw, nudging him a little. "Wanna pair up?" he suggested, tail waving happily and flicking snow off his whiskers.

Flickerpaw stood beside Snowpuddle, his tail low with nerves.

Snowpuddle nudged Flickerpaw gently, purring, "Go find an older apprentice. You'll be fine, just do remember to find an opponent's weakness and use it against them. You have an advantage already, you're small so you are fast. Use that." She mewed to him reassuringly, hoping she was being helpful to him. She wasn't worried at all, just wanted to prove to Ivorystar she could hold her position.

Echopaw nodded determinedly. "Okay!" She meowed, her blue gaze scanning the clearing for an available apprentice. She noticed Flickerpaw beside Snowpuddle, and padded over, waving her tail in greeting. "Want to be partners?" She questioned hopefully.

Flickerpaw shook his head. "We can't, we're too close in age."

Thrushpaw nodded. "Same here. In my opinion, group trainings never go well."

Snowpuddle sighed before announcing, “If you can’t find a partner then either partner up together or with a different mentor than your own.” She twitched her tail irritatably, wondering why it was so hard for them to understand what she previously mentioned.

Flickerpaw looked up at her. "You said before that it was an older and younger apprentice?" he mewed, frowning. This is confusing.

“Yes. Just partner up with another available apprentice for now. It’s taking longer than i expected.” She told her apprentice, figuring it’d have been easy for them to find out.

Echopaw frowned, clearly a bit flustered. She stalked away and shrugged. "D-does anyone else need a partner?" She questioned, her whiskers twitching nervously.

Aurorashade gave a gentle nudge to Ryepaw. "Why don't you go ahead and pair up with Crabpaw?" she suggested in accordance to Snowpuddle's orders.

Thrushpaw waited for their next instructions, trying not to shiver in the cold.

Echopaw groaned inwardly, flicking her tail tip. "Who am I supposed to pair up with?" She asked Clovermask, her gaze drooping, "Everyone seems to already have a partner!" Why is my first day out on training already ruined? She wondered, frowning.

Clovermask nearly groaned in annoyance but she managed to cover it up with a cough. "How about Hollowpaw? He's close to becoming a warrior," she mewed.

Echopaw wrinkled her nose, unease spreading through her. If he was almost a warrior, how would she ever show how good of a warrior she would become against him? the silver tabby only nodded, and padded over to the tom. "Uh, do you want to be my partner?" She blurted out nervously.

Flakesoul quickly ran into the training grounds, her ears pricked. "Uh, so, I'm pretty sure rogues attacked the camp and we now have rogue prisoners because they tried to steal kits so Cherrywind asked someone to come and hopefully bring you all back to camp," she took a deep breath. "Sorry for interrupting,"

Snowpuddle sighed and flicked her tail,” fine. Thank you for coming. Let’s all get back to camp. Would you mind running to Frostclan and letting Ivorystar know please? She might already be on her way back but i’d like her to be informed.” She told Flakesoul, looking back to the warriors and apprentices behind her as she slowly made her way back to camp. The rogues in camp? Why was i not informed sooner? Snowpuddle though to herself.

Flakesoul sighed, then started running to FrostClan to inform Ivorystar. I don't see why we can't wait until she comes back, but I guess I might as well go, she thought to herself.

Echopaw frowned, her whiskers twitching. "For SoulClan's sake! We didn't even get to train," She meowed, huffing with annoyance; however, the news of rogues in camp earned her ears to prick up in interest as she followed her mentor out the training grounds.
