IC: Bluesnow blinked happily at Alpinefrost's comment, laying down beside Willowdapple. "Yes, I'm sure your kits will be happy to have some new denmates," he purred.

"I'm sure they will," Alpinefrost mewed, rasping her tongue over her paw carefully.

Willowdapple nodded, distracted by her thoughts. At least when I give birth, after a while they can play with Alpinefrost's kits, and I can get back to warrior duties. Suddenly she felt a sharp stab, and nearly doubled over. "Oh fox-dung." she groaned, laying on her side.

Willowdapple pushed, biting hard on the stick, and pushed out a small spotted kit. "That's one." she mewed through biting on the stick, and bit harder as she felt another spasm.

Graytail perked his ears and bolted over to where Willowdapple lay. "Alright, just bite onto this stick and try to take deep breaths." He meowed, then turned to Bluesnow, "Give her some room, and don't yell please. It just makes things less calmer." He ordered firmly.

Thornsplash nodded to the cats who asked to join, "Let's go." She meowed, leading them out the camp. I don't want to see my sister giving birth to kits... She thought, growling to herself.

Cloudmist followed, slipping out the entrance of camp.

Silvertalon followed, wondering why Thornsplash was leaving in such a hurry.

Bluesnow narrowed her eyes at Thornsplash. What's wrong with her?! It seems as if she deliberately left when her own sister is giving birth! he thought, snarling under his breath. Bluesnow started licking the spotted kit's fur the wrong way and sighed in relief when he felt its little heart beating.

Aqua, please stop. These one-liners you're posting are really starting to get on my nerves. I don't mean to be rude, but you don't even put periods most of the time! Please write more relevant, in-depth sentences when roleplaying. "Hailkit coughed"? Please write more than that. What are his thoughts, emotions, more things he does? If I have to warn anyone again, I'm writing a topic about this and posting it everytime someone uses a one-liner or irrelevant sentences. Like a Star @ heaven

Bravepaw heard the groans from the nursery and rushed in, completely ignoring Icebreeze and nearly knocking her down as she ducked in through the brambles. She saw her older sister and stifled a gasp. Just a few moons ago, they were playing and dancing around and laughing at each others pranks. Now she'll have no time for me! Bravepaw whined under her breath, brushing past Icebreeze again and plunging into her den angrily.

Ratpaw chuckled, watching Bravepaw angrily storm out of the nursery. He had known that Willowdapple was giving birth, and he surely imagined her falling in love with the dashing Bluesnow, but he never realized how many cats were hurt or mad about it. "Seems like not a lot of cats will enjoy this birth, am I right?" he chuckled awkwardly, prodding shoulders with Heatherpaw.

Stormshadow nudged Hailkit to her body to suckle. She secretly worried that he might be catching a cold or...... something.

By the way, guys, kits aren't born their natural, rest-of-life color. Brindlekit would have been black at birth because there is no dilute to brown, and Servalkit would be a creamy orange at birth since later he'll be that grey-brown type. They also can't be spotted or have any markings or patterns at birth unless it's a scar from a malfunction during the labor or something. Like a Star @ heaven

The small blue-gray newborn immediately squirmed to his mother after his sac had broken off, reaching for milk and successfully nudging his littermates over onto their backs. He lolled his tongue in thirst and kneaded Willowdapple's belly, but getting dry milk. He squealed and pushed his head into his mother's stomach with a plead of thirst.

Longpaw watched the kitting, hot on Greytail's heels, and noticed that the third-born was looking for milk. He trotted up and gently attached his jaws around it's scruff, pulling it away and warming it's fur and licking some birth blood off it's shoulder. "It's okay, it's okay, she has to give life to one more, then you can drink." he meowed soothingly.

The cream kit mewled helplessly, opening his tiny pink mouth. He nestled into his mother's belly fur and mewed again as he felt his sibling taken away.

The light brown she-kit wailed loudly, flicking her white tail tip as she struggled to reach her mothers belly. She used her white front left paw to bat at the cream kit.

Oakkit stared at the kits. " where WE ever that small momma! They look so helpless!" He meowed as he flicked his tail to the newborns.

Ibiskit leaped up swiftly and flailed, batting at Longpaw. He squirmed and dropped to the ground from Longpaw's loose jaws. He squinted and saw a black darkness around him, and he crawled around until he reached his mother. He headbutted his siblings in their rumps and squeezed his way through to suckle.

Longpaw chuckled at the four kits squirming around, latching his jaws around the dead Sparrowkit and sighing instantly. He set the dead kit down at his paws and racked his brain on what to do.

"Alright, everyone, give Willowdapple and her kits some privacy. Go back to your dens or nests, and keep quiet. Greytail, where should Sparrowpaw be buried?" he chirped, adding the last part quietly to his mentor.
