Briarscorch snorted. "Yeah, if you want to." She looked around, wondering what was happening with everyone else. The camp seemed so...quiet, but as the snow began to fall gently through the clearing, she realised. Oh, the FrostClan cats knew the snow was coming. Of course. She shook her pelt out. Hopekit bounded out of the nursery and squeaked when a snowflake landed on her nose. She batted at them, trying to stand on her hindlegs and tumbling onto her back where she proceeded to giggle.

Lynxfang rolled his eyes and padded over, swallowing his last gulp of prey. "I'm here," he mewed, his voice flat but edging on sarcastic. "Where's Fennelstrike?"

Cloverlily scanned the camp, stifling a laugh at Dapplestar's shouts. She gazed down at the entrance with a sigh, nearly falling off the branch when she saw Marshfeather. She glanced across the clearing and leaped down, pushing him outside. "What are you doing here?" she whispered harshly.

I have a few kits waiting to become apprentices, and I have made a choice for new deputy ever since Nightpelt was killed by the rogues." she mewed, frowning at the mention of her beloved former deputy.

Flintpaw opened his tired eyes. He shivered. Slowly, he stood on his sore paws.

He hissed as a migraine crashed down on him. He stumbled backwards, and sat down. Meeting? Really? Now?? he rubbed his paws up against his eyes.

Stormshadow cried over the body of her last remaining kit, now dead. “Owlkit... I’m so sorry. First Coalkit then you.” She sobbed, crying out onto the dry moss in the nursery. “I’m so sorry.”

“I’m sorry...” she mewed, sadness showing in her voice. She hung her tail and then grabbed Owlkit, placing him as close to Stormshadow as she could. Then she sat down next to her, not a clue of what to do to comfort the queen. “The next time i see those rogues who killed your kits, i’ll shred every one of them.” Snowpaw vowed quietly, so Stormshadow could only hear.

Pantherpaw glanced over at the Tallcave for just a moment when she heard Redstar call over the FireClan cats for a meeting. She turned back to the warriors' den, and continued looking for Honeymist. "Um...Honeymist? Are you here?" she awkwardly called out, looking around.

Fireeyes had been heading back over to the medicine cats' den, when he heard Redstar call the other FireClan cats over for a clan meeting. He then padded back over to the Tallcave to hear his leader speak.

Redstar cleared her throat, flicking her tail to silence the Clan as they gathered. She felt back in authority again, on top of the Tallcave, towering over everyone. "We are gathered here today to see kits go to apprentices, and apprentices go to warriors. I realize I've been putting this ceremony off for quite a while, so before we start I'd like to apologize for that. Now, I call up Mistkit, Brightkit, Barley, and Milkweed." she meowed, gazing down on the excited kits, and her own two that she and Acornwhisker adopted.

Darkshadow ducked into camp after the patrol along the border, blinking as he realized there was an apprentice ceremony in progress. He padded quietly across the clearing and settle down among the two clans, watching the four kits with interest.
