DuskClan | The Bottomless Pool

At the bottom of DuskClan's waterfall lies the Bottomless Pool, a deep and rather strange formation that occurred due to shifting lands. The Bottomless Pool is named so due to the water, which appear to reach right down into the depths of the earth due to its reflectivity, not allowing much visual on where the bottom is. Some cats have swum down, and estimated it to be greater than one of the trees on the shoreline.
Larger animals sometimes appear here to drink such as deer and wild horses, but they don't pose much of a threat to the cats as long as they keep their distance. The water also attracts smaller prey in the warmer seasons, and common herbs thrive in the marshy edges of the pool.

Basilpaw carefully picked his path to the edge of the part-frozen pool. He had always wondered what was at the bottom but didn't want to find out. Instead of lingering to ponder over its depth, he held the moss under the water. The water was icy on his chin, but he ignored it and rushed back to the makeshift camp.
