The main path of the river that runs through the five territories; it is deep and swift, and stories of many cats being lost to the swift current mostly deters intruders.

Turtlestar led her patrol along the river, not paying too close attention to her surroundings as she lost herself in thought. Scorchthicket had betrayed Robinstar in telling her why DuskClan had fled their camp. Was something going on between them? Were they in a fight?

Lilythroat padded along behind Turtlestar, ears twitching backwards. It had been odd to see Scorchthicket walk an intruding cat back so casually. "Turtlestar? Has something happened to DuskClan?" She mewed quietly, peering up at her leader.

Thundersong followed the patrol quietly, eyes shining with the same question that Lilythroat had just asked.

Turtlestar paused, unsure how much of the information Scorchthicket had given to her confidentially she should share. "The earthquake damaged their camp," she mewed decidedly.

Lilythroat blinked and nodded. "That must've been why it smelled like there was so many of them. I hope they're okay..." She shook her head and fluffed up her golden fur.

OOC: Double posting bc no one replied!
IC: Turtlestar froze as the ground beneath her began to shake. The water in the river began to waver, overflowing and splashing out on either side.

Lilythroat released a panicked yelp and dug her claws into the ground, nose wrinkling at the scent of salt.

As the shaking stopped, Lilythroat remained fluffed up, as much as she could since her pelt hung heavy with salt water at some points, that is. She looked to Turtlestar and rose slowly to her paws. "You two okay?" She mewed, looking between the leader and Thundersong.

Thundersong nodded as well. He had fallen into the water during the earthquake, and was currently shaking his pelt and shivering slightly. "How many more are we going to have?" He grumbled, tension and the cold making his muscles bunch up uncomfortably.
