Tigerkit laught a little: "Well you need it more then I do."

Hollyheart came out of the herb store with some honeycomb. "Lick some of this too, and it should soothe your throat." she mewed.

Windfur sighed as he watched Cinderstorm at work, completely drowned in his love for her.

Graykit padded close to his brother, glad that he would be okay. Shadowstrike sat beside Snowstar when his two tomkits entered.

Hollyheart frowned. "I want to look at that wound on Snowstar's shoulder. It might need a new poultice of marigold." she told Cinderstorm

Smokekit coughed deeply.

Snowstar stirred as she heard voices and Smokekit's cough. "Oh Smokekit! Are you sick?" she asked him worriedly

Graykit purred, falling asleep beside his mother's warmth and his father's protecting presence. "Smokekit should sleep too..." he murmured just before falling asleep.

Hollyheart gave the deep gouge a good sniff. "Not infected. But i'll put more marigold on it just in case." she said, pawing some of the herbs tgether she'd bought with her, and chewing them into a pulp. "Cinderstorm can you look at Raincloud's wound?" she mewed around some marigold.

Hollyheart placed the pulp on Snowstar's shoulder, and sealed it again with cobwebs. "Okay, that should be fine. Come see me if it starts hurting." she mewed, then looked at Smokekit. "Eat this." she mewed, pulling a leaf with two poppy seeds on it towards the kit.

Graykit snorted in his sleep, and Shadowstrike licked Snowstar's ear gently.

Tinykit watched Smokekit. Wolfkit bounced around. "Tigerkit!" he called. Bumblestripe purred and turned back to his mate. He set his tail lightly on her back.

Smokekit coughed and couldn't sleep.

Snowstar felt waves of heat coming off of Smokekit. He must have a fever she thought then she called "Hollyheart, Smokekit has a fever!"

Smokekit coughed furiously as he was being carried to the medicine den. Then he asked in a very hoarse voice "Why are you carrying me to the medicine den? I could stay in the nursery couldn't I?"
